Another 3lbs off this week. I’m pleased with that as I upped my lifting weights yesterday and my muscles feel sore so I was expecting a water gain. 💪

Got into a size 14 for the first time in a long time. Which isn’t that impressive at 5ft0 but I’m taking the win!

Hi everyone, has anyone been getting their MJ with Boots? I’m about to order my 4th pen, I’ve been on 2.5mg and want to go up to 5mg but my BMI is now 27, does anyone know if they’ll approve it? I’ve still got 10kg to go to my goal weight that I originally stated….thanks

Hiya - I haven’t used boots, I’ve changed every month to get good discounts but once you have started you will be fine as your BMI is coming down. I got a 5mg pen from a completely new provider when my BMI was under 30. I just did the usual photos plus a pic of my current prescription.

I think there’s quite a few of us moving up to 5mg. I’m going to do a halfway dose of 3.75mg this weekend then perhaps the full 5 next weekend depending on how I do with that 👍

Anyone else moved up a dose and have any more experiences to share?

Not sure there’s a set list of recommendations, but I’ve been taking a selection for a while (pre MJ) in an attempt to improve gut health and energy levels. I have added collagen protein powder as apparently recommended but it’s disgusting (in my opinion) but does help to boost protein. A lot will depend on your diet overall I think, but I also take Vit C, Zinc, a gut health supplement, and occasionally a pre-/peri/menopause multivitamin (can’t always stomach multivitamins so this isn’t everyday). To be honest - feel no difference, still exhausted and no glowy skin or hair. But I guess I feel less bloated (irrespective of diet change) so think the gut health supplement is probably the only thing that really helps!

Hi everyone, well done on weightlosses and F off to shitty waiters!
I’m about to take my third 5mg jab. Side effects have ramped up and I’ve been getting stomach pains a few hours after injecting which last about 36 hours. Not pleasant. I’m sticking with it though as food noise is returning by the end of the week. Also I’ve started a period after almost a year without one-pretty pissed off as I was sure I had finally gone through menopause. One plus though is no more hot flushes since I’ve upped my dose which is a blessing in this weather.
I’m still losing weight although it’s much slower than before. Still, 20 pounds in 9 weeks is pretty good

Oh god DH must have taken his today then his second. Last week he was rotten Friday night and all Saturday. Has had terrible moods all week. That 5 dose has really messed with him.

I think I may have to go back down to 3.75 next week . I’ll am still sick as a dog after the 5mg on Tuesday night . Can’t really eat …. Feck sake !!!!! Not sure if I should persist or maybe take the next 5 a day or two late ?

Ive definitely had a lower mood which ive never had before but I have had almost lifelong anxiety (Im on sertraline) and this has also increased. Id say mood change has been the biggest SE for me so far.

Bloody mj and giving people periods. It got me too, awful!

But it is a sign that your body is healthier I suppose, so onwards and upwards 🙂

Doesn’t feel healthier! I’ve been in perimenopause for ten bloody years. Ah well, at least the absence of hot flushes is a welcome bonus

Flipping Nora - forgot today was jab day ... then tonight I was making a curry and weighing my teensy portion of rice and putting one solitary 37cal poppadom into MFP and wondering whether to track a handful of spinach, necking a second glass of wine then I thought "why am I so hungry?"

Im 'officially' a week and a bit off my next Bolt prescription (in truth Im sticking at the 2.5mg and just about to start the 5mg pen I have in my fridge)

My assesment is recommending I move up to 7.5mg, which I am probably going to take them up on as Im still getting a subscription discount and because I havent got myself organised to swap suppliers, so if ANYONE is after a bolt discount Id be really appreciative as this will bring my price down to the current best price for 7.5mg on the monj site, and give me some time to sort myself out!

I know if refrigerated the pens are coming in with a year long shelf life, so I dont mind stockpiling. Also a 7.5mg prescription allows me to get that from other suppliers. I was just so run off my feet I didnt get it organised. That and ADHD

Another 0.95kg / 2lbs off this week, taking the total loss to 6.95kg / 15lb in 7 weeks. BMI now tantalisingly close to healthy at 25.7.

anyone getting new back ache since they started ? I have had an ache in the middle of my back on and off since I started.kind of like a weakness and soreness as if I had been standing all day …. Heading to take that tonight and am currently sitting down to try and get myself ready !! Had to use voltarol cream and take panadol … v annoying

Yes I recommend doing 3.75 first . The 5 has nearly finished me off ! Although I lost about 2 lbs this week ( every cloud …)
