I'm still here too but just plodding along with frustratingly small losses, heat, and perimenopause absolutely kicking me with constant swollen boobs / tummy no matter what I eat.
Nothing to report other than having a little moan, and I hate being negative.
Currently on holiday with the family in France and enjoying fresh food on the BBQ, slightly cooler weather, air conditioning and spending time with DH and the kids.
DH is away so much with the Navy that any time together is super precious 💕

Back from a week on the algarve .. too many sangrias etc .. gained 3lb. Need to get refocused. 🙈 No heat in N Ireland - we still have a green garden!

I’m in northern Ireland too @Foreveronaplane can’t believe the difference in our weather to the English summer this year.

Bonjour from France! It is COLD here. And absolute bliss. Meals on repeat on the BBQ have been fresh meat, new potatoes and green salad... we'll forget about the ice cream I just inhaled...🤣 All about balance eh?! More salad needed tomorrow. But those herby potatoes are to die for.

But blimey...I'm so bloated and sore. Been showing signs of my period coming for over a week but nothing. So disheartening when you can't fit into things comfortably and just want to feel a "bit" more comfortable by the pool in my cozzie.

Grumble over! Just went down a waterslide to show my younger DC it's nothing to be scared of. Firstly I comfortably fitted on it! Secondly got a huge wedgie and didn't care 🤣

Sending positive and cooling thoughts to everyone, especially Apprenante, hope your DD is doing OK.

I have, I think/hope reached the end of MJ. I have been maintaining since January and reached the end of my last pen, so I’m going to see how I get on without. I’ve gone back and forth about whether to stay or quit so many times, but have finally decided to give it a go and hope it’s the right decision.

@HereIGoOnceMore thank you. It's very early days but so far her side effects have been manageable. The dose this week will be much higher so keep all the positive thoughts coming .

I've been maintaining since mid January and now stay between 9-12 and 10-2. I thought I'd just be able to stop using MJ but I can't quite bring myself to stop jabbing. I'm spreading out the doses to once every 10 days but I have to admit I'm eating more carbs than I was. I weigh myself every single day and record it so that I can deal with an increase quickly.
Let us know what your strategy is and how it goes please.

@Foreveronaplane and @SignedUpAgain - envying your green gardens ! We’ve finally had some rain here overnight so hoping I can swerve watering can duty , for this evening at least 🤞.

Like @Apprenante , I’m eating more carbs than previously- this persistent nausea has turned me right off my standby proteins - eggs, cottage cheese, chicken and 0% Greek yoghurt - and my energy levels have taken a hit.
Just purchased another pen as to be honest I too am doubtful of managing without MJ in the long term.

I've gone down to the the next stone 😁. And I bought some size 14 M&S jeans off Vinted in hope I would get into them this winter. They fit!
18 days to holiday in Cyprus. I hope they still fit when I get back. 😀

@Apprenante - afraid so ! We didn’t get to see DGD in June ( her Uni exams and holiday afterwards ) so very much looking forward to some time with her before term restarts and she jets off again…..
