Most of my family are on GLPs. A couple of them are on a new drug called retatrutide. This is meant to be a better version of things like Monjouro and has fewer side effects and you retain more of your muscle etc.

However, it doesn’t seem to be available officially anywhere as it is still in clinical trials. They are buying it from someone at the gym.

Does anyone have any experience of this drug?

From what I gather, you find others who have the same batch number as you and you club together to get it checked. The stuff coming from china is so cheap that I suppose people can afford to do that. I find the whole thing fascinating tbh. Wasn’t until I found TikTok and bodybuilding content that this whole other world popped up!

Yep, it’s about US$300 to get the GLP1s tested in an independent European laboratory , so if you’re splitting that between six or ten people on a group buy, it’s really not much at all.

It is fascinating but somewhat alarming that there are people who are not at all bothered by this, and don't seem to be worried about the complete lack of oversight, on several levels, plus the risks to their own health.

These testing labs, if in the UK, I wonder if they have a regulated responsibility to notice if substances they are testing are illegally acquired prescription only meds and report to the relevant authorities.

As someone else mentioned, lots of people appear to be ‘stacking’ their peptides. There is a peptide for almost anything by the looks of things from tanning, to body fat, to collagen boosters to muscle growth and recovery. Some are taking 5 plus different peptides throughout the week. Others trying to ‘bio-hack’ for longevity. It really is quite interesting.
