We have all been on for heading up to 20mths now- we gathered our courage and started what would be a memorable journey for us all - made some hopefully forever friends

Gather round my little auggies 😍 and we are all doing amazingly so be proud of yourselves

The amount of weight per person lost varies from 1-2stone - 3-4 - 5-6 - 7+
in a year

We are amazing !!!

All of us have totally changed our body shape - reduced our bmi and weight and hopefully improved our health
most of us are at goal - and working out how to maintain - some nearing it

And some still have weight they want to lose

We are still here cheering you on till you get to your happy weight so please do carry on posting

Some have stopped for cost - esp after the aug announcements - still so thankful we started it when we did
Imagine Aug 25 and being told 2/3w later prices were increasing lots

I def couldn’t have managed a year of mj at new sept prices esp as doses didn’t really effect me even 15 !

ALL of us have lost weight and I love the fact we are all so supportive to each other over weight and our general day to day lives

This next year will almost be harder.
To keep the weight off Esp if reducing dose or off completely - and we are finding it def harder to keep weight off with lower doses

only 2 words to say 😂😂

Same here. Still on 10. On 1200 calories to lose those annoying extra pounds. Have been counting calories and lost a couple of pounds. 5 pounds left. Not felt great so I have been eating more ready meals than normal...spaghetti bolognaise, tuna pasta bake etc. But stayed in calories. Jabbed 10 on Monday and got food noise already!

morbidcuriosity · 09/09/2026 18:56

All this hungry talk . Ive been finding it hard. Am going to jab 7.5 next. And decided once my pen is out im gonna go back to 10 for a bit to get these few lbs off thats annoying me..

I suck at maintaining my weight. Gonna have to purchase some higher pens again.

Blondeshavemorefun · 09/09/2026 21:23

Def seems easier to lose weight then maintain

Maybe its the weather turning, I'm having a hungry week too!!

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/09/2026 08:52

It’s just food noise with me. I could easily eat 2/3 packets of crisps or biscuits

maybe I need some menu overhaul

what are you all eating for Breakie lunch and tea

OP posts:
PoemsForTea · 10/09/2026 11:11

Fruit , greek yoghurt, nuts and seeds or a crustless quiche muffin thing.

Something beany or lentilly for lunch or a wholemeal pitta with tuna or egg mayonnaise.

Whole grains, chicken.or salmon, salad, sweet potato.

Trying very hard to hit 30g fibre, as that fills me up so much better. I prob manage that about 4/7 days!

Azuresky68 · Yesterday 06:25

@PoemsForTea that sounds good. Any snacks or alcohol on top? That's my downfall, especially alcohol.

Azuresky68 · Yesterday 06:41

This what I have been eating recently. Overnight oats or a baked oat cake which is actually like a cake, both with blueberries. I used to eat omelettes every day but have really gone off them. Been having boiled eggs with 3 ryvita's some days. Usually skip lunch. Then a main meal. Snacks in the evening if I really can't go without would be a low cal hot chocolate or ryvitas with a tiny smear of butter or low fat cream cheese. Not been feeling great recently so eating more carbs than normal but calorie counting which is working. Cut out alcohol, apart from one day at the weekend and then try to limit to 2 drinks. Switched to non alcoholic lager which has calories but I prefer to a coke zero or lime and soda so I don't feel deprived. Also discovered Aldi Cookie Dough ice cream that is 370 calories for a Ben and Jerry's style tub. All occasional treats to alleviate the boredom of always eating 'healthy' which is what I aim to do most of the time.

But you have lost 7 stone and are still maintaining so doing really well. Do you still count all the calories? It feels like a daily battle to keep it off doesn't it 😕

Azuresky68 · Yesterday 06:52

@Blondeshavemorefun just a thought ..biscuits and crisps have the crunch factor which is what I think I miss in the evenings so that's why I have started on Ryvita's after years of never going near them. They are drfnitely not more'ish...too boring as i only get the plain ones!

Azuresky68 · Yesterday 07:04

On a final note I lost a pound and a half this week so my carby eating is working. I usually eat high protein, low carb. Last week was a pound off. 4.5 pounds to get back to 8 st 7, 1 pound at a time. Not been that weight since December. I hovered around 8 stone 8 for a while in January then gained here and there until a shock horror weigh in at 9 stone 4!! Maintenance is SO hard and I am still on 10 😫 BUT I still fit into my clothes and feel good about myself and that's what counts 😀 Happy Friday everyone

Just a bit of fun. My dance group for older people did a promo for Jane McDonald's gig and Jane put it on her stories! Honestly the best fun I have had in years..next promo is for the Pussycat Dolls. We get to dress up in sequins and pleather with no judgement..clothes I wouldn't have had the confidence to wear when I was much heavier. One promo got 400,000 views on Tik Tok. It's been life changing ❤️💃❤️ The photo is a screenshot of Jane's story.

Booze doesnt bother me and halt to not drink for weeks /months but I can’t give up crisps

how do manage to skip lunch @Azuresky68. I’m hungry. I want 3 meals

yes to 7s tho it’s 6s 10lbs at the moment as gained a lb. Fuck knows how

so now 10.8 so over my top end ballpark and I know I need to get this back or will be 1/2 a stone then a stone gained etc

it’s why I have such a small leeway but really struggling to get it back

I feel 10 isn’t doing much and I may go to 12.5 to really kick start me as I maintained for months at 10/4 10/5 10/6 and all went wrong when I dropped to 2.5

and tbh never really got back in control of it

yes def a daily battle 😢😢

prob wedding stuff from last week

i I do count calories but admit been a bit lapse with it recently

Oh yes, I love red wine! For snacks i really like Lidls Caramel rice cakes if i need a sweet hit. Or the tomato toddler crisps that Blondes took the piss out of 😆

Blondeshavemorefun · Yesterday 16:18

Well they are cost crisps that aren’t even crisps @PoemsForTea 😜😂

I’m on 10 and I keep forgetting to jab in jab day and going too long between doses. I like to do it when home alone and I need to just be more consistent.

Blondeshavemorefun · Yesterday 18:17

How do you forget ?

I have fibro and am just a durr brain sometimes.

I’ve just order 7.5 as I realised I have a few tens and by the time I’ve got through those I should be ok to go down. I paid £223 for 7.5 delivered from oushk which feels ok.

I really must get better at taking it. I think I’ll take my next dose slightly early so I can get back into routine with weekend jabs.

morbidcuriosity · Yesterday 19:29

@FurForksSakelook at MMP I know the 10mg is £198 . So 7.5 will be even cheaper.. thats where im going next , unless pharmalous reduce their price, which I've heard they might..
