We won’t make it to Christmas without a new board.

Well done to everyone for getting this far and thank you for your company.

Here’s to a healthy and happy 2026.

Well done @JustPickleRick I agree maintenance is definitely a whole new level of learning, with very little support available.

I’ve increased my cals to 1900-2000, reduced my dose to 2.5mg every 12 days and officially have 5 doses left and then will be stopping MJ. My initial goal was 9st 1, then 8st 7, now I’m maintaining at 7st 8lb. I still track everything as it’s became part of my norm, I do 20,000 steps per day, weight train 3 to 4 times per week, and have a lean, muscular physique, and have found the start of a 6 pack underneath all that fat 😆. I don’t look underweight or old or scrawny at all; I actually look brilliant. I’ve went from a tight 16 probably was really an 18, to a size 6.

We are off on holiday at the end of July and I can’t wait to wear whatever I want, and feel comfortable in my own skin; for the first time in my adult life I have no body hang ups.

Wow thats amazing! You must feel so proud 😍 im worried about going any lower after comments i've got throughout the journey but they do seem to have quietened down now, I guess they're used to seeing a slimmer me now. I'm eating more calories now but only around 1400 so need to up it a bit more. I'd like to eventually stop taking mounjaro but worry after seeing posts about it putting weight back on. I tell myself there's absolutely no way in hell I'd ever let myself be big again but it sounds like it is tricky for some people to go without! Keep us updated with how you do once you stop taking it!
I've got a holiday booked in August and its the first time in forever that i'm actually excited 🤩 have a lovely time away!

UnimaginableWindBird · 09/07/2026 06:37

I think mine went to my real age at that point - my subcutaneous fat stayed yellow for ages after everything else was green, and my metabolic she was at 1 year above my actual age at that point.

SerafinasGoose · 09/07/2026 10:44

I've been quiet because I've been plateauing for six whole months. The good news is I've not regained. I'm currently, briefly, trying a more drastic approach to try to rid myself of the rest. I'm a couple of pounds down this week but this does keep fluctuating, so we shall see.

I want my BMI to be in the normal range. But I must say it's wonderful to be able to fit into all my summer clothes again.

Disclaimer: I still have the chub rub. Bah! Current weight is 13 st 11, and I'm 5' 10".

Well done on not regaining, that’s quite a feat! I have been plateauing for a couple of months so can appreciate how it must feel. Sending good wishes for the final push!

Pinkbox · 09/07/2026 12:54

Green BMI finally reached today 🎉🎉🎉 I know it may fluctuate as I am just over the borderline but I am thrilled. I have plateaued at 2lb heavier for at least two months so it’s been a long time coming. Now I need to study how people are maintaining 😶

UnimaginableWindBird · 09/07/2026 18:33

Oh, big congratulations, @Pinkbox!!!!

SnowWhiteisMyFavourite · 11/07/2026 12:00

@Atalosswhat2do That’s impressive weight loss and an impressive amount of exercise you’re doing now! Well done 👏👏

I was very similar to you when it came to exercise when I started (and I was much bigger!) and I hardly managed 4,000-5,000 steps a day. By the end of last year I was walking 12,000-15,000 steps a day, and at that point decided to try running. I did C25K in the spring and now I run 5-10 km three times a week. I’ve also started doing weights and yoga, so my exercise has really increased. My overall step count has started to decline because of my weight training days, as I don’t have time to fit as many steps in. I still try to do 10,000+ steps on my rest days though.

SnowWhiteisMyFavourite · 11/07/2026 12:08

My weight is finally on a downward trend after zigzagging throughout June. I’ve been taking my injections every 10 days and I have one 2.5mg jab left. Then I’m "on my own".

Current weight: 74.6kg, down from 122kg. Just 2.6kg more to go and I’ll have lost 50kg.

I’m eating about 1,800-2,000 calories a day, which keeps me satisfied and should be sustainable going forward if I keep up my exercise routine. If I don’t, I need to remember to cut back over the following few days.

I do feel (overly) hungry sometimes but I think it’s more psychological hunger than real hunger and I’m learning to deal with it. The old tried-and-tested tricks: have a glass of water or a cup of tea, then wait 30 minutes to see if it passes. Or have a banana with peanut butter (yuck!), which AI told me to try and it actually helps. It’s so sweet, but very filling and I don’t fancy anything else after that snack.

SnowWhiteisMyFavourite · 11/07/2026 12:09

This is my June/July trend, definitely not a linear line😬

Well done @SnowWhiteisMyFavourite 👏👏👏👏👏 and good luck with flying solo.

Lowest weight this week was 76.75kg so I’m continuing to trend down, although I was about a kg up on that this morning.

Went and got fitted for new bras yesterday. 34G. I was wearing a 40 or 38F. I don’t think I’ve ever worn a 34 in my entire life. Also bought an expensive new dress. I have a black-tie work do next week and the dress I was planning to wear is just too warm for this weather. New dress is from Ghost and is long and silky in a beautiful deep teal, very simple with short sleeves and a button-through front. I tried both the 14 and 16. The 14 came up a bit tight on the bust and arms, so I’ve gone with the 16, even though that’s a bit looser over the bum and hips. I also got a pair of trousers in the sale, size 14 from Jigsaw. The fact that I can buy size 14 off the peg blows my mind. So with that and the bras I spent a lot of money but it’s all good. I usually buy my clothes from Sainsbury’s so it feels nice to treat myself to something more high end.

I feel like my bottom half is pretty much done but I still have a lot of upper arm and back fat I’d like to lose.

Pinkbox · 11/07/2026 19:06

Thanks @UnimaginableWindBird!
@GhostOrchid I got a size 14 T shirt in the sale at Jigsaw! When we started this journey in September I was an 18. It’s so nice buying things you like instead of whatever fits best.

Chopsy123 · 17/07/2026 13:40

@UnimaginableWindBird @Pinkbox

Hi both, I’d like to ask your opinions about the Renpho scales please as you’ve both been using them longer than I have.

I bought a set in June to replace my old Salter scales and they seem pretty accurate, although I’ve not really lost much in the last month and yo yo’d up and down by a couple of pounds, which I think is normal.

However, this morning, I stood on them and they weighed me at 10st 10.7lbs. I thought, great that’s a loss of 2lb from a couple of days ago. I stood on them again and they now say 10st 7.6lbs. So I tried standing on them 4 times and it was reading the lower figure each time. Previously, it’s never fluctuated like that but the Salter scales did so I’m wondering if it means the batteries are going or they’ve developed a fault and I’m heavier than I think? 😩

I’m using them in my bathroom on a tiled floor where they sit within a single large tile, so I don’t think it’s due to where they’re stood?

Do yours ever fluctuate with the readings for no apparent reason?

UnimaginableWindBird · 17/07/2026 14:50

Mine are very, very consistent with my weight. My previous scales used to vary by a couple of pounds every time I stepped on and off them which I why I switched to the Renpho ones. I bought mine last October.

Pinkbox · 17/07/2026 15:00

@Chopsy123mine refuse to connect to the phone using Bluetooth if they aren’t well charged. I will check if the weight fluctuates next time I weigh myself. When I first got them, they read 2lb heavier than my old ones, which was another issue to get my head around but I’m over it now!

GhostOrchid · 18/07/2026 05:40

No change to my weight this week but pleased with that as I’ve had a big work event involving a conference and two nights in a hotel. Eating a bit all over the place and a fair bit of alcohol.

I did however see loads of people who haven’t seen me in ages and got so many lovely comments and compliments and the teal dress was a huge hit.

UnimaginableWindBird · 18/07/2026 15:00

Is anyone else finding injecting more painful as you lose the belly fat? I couldn't feel the needle at all when I started, and now it properly hurts for around 10 minutes when I inject anywhere above the navel.

Pinkbox · 18/07/2026 20:38

@Chopsy123 FYI My Renpho scales didn’t fluctuate this morning.

I have only done my thighs so can’t comment on this, thighs still OK in that respect.

Thanks @Pinkbox and @UnimaginableWindBird

That’s helpful. Thank you.

My scales were weighing the same figure consistently this morning but I’m wondering if yesterday’s anomaly was because I’ve had a whoosh loss since I last weighed? I hadn’t really lost anything in about 6 weeks of fluctuating a couple of pounds up and down.

Previous weight I recorded was 10st 12 on Wednesday, then down to 10st 7.6 yesterday.

Who knows! 🤷🏻‍♀️

I still have squishy belly fat so can’t help you on that one. 😂

Re: scales

This morning a Lo message appeared on them and they wouldn’t do anything else so I changed the batteries and thankfully, I’m still 10.7.

Happy Days! 😁

OneDayIWillLearn · 21/07/2026 20:09

Has anyone found a good maintenance thread on here that they would recommend joining?

I’m taking 5mg every 7 days again now but still feel like I’m losing slightly. It probably doesn’t matter that much but I can’t decide whether to go longer between doses or drop slightly. And I also can’t quite work out how to switch to ‘maintenance’ with my providers (Oushk and Cloud) - what I’d really like is to be able to order a 7.5mg pen every two months probably and make it last but I can’t really work out from their websites if they’ll let me!

Hi, i've not really found a good maintenance thread yet. I'd like to join one myself as it is hard to judge what's right ir wrong at this point!
If its any help, i've titrated down and am now on my 2nd week of beong back on 2.5mg. I've upped my calories to about 1400 a day and have been a lot more relaxed. I still track food so that I am holding myself accountable. Its stopping me from reaching for more food.
How long have you been on that current dose? I've still been able to lose ever so slightly on 2.5mg. My goal was 8 stone 7 and i'm on 8 stone 4 at the moment. I'm happy using those few lbs as a buffer 😅
My next step is to stretch out the doses. Tonight i've had to take the 2.5mg 2 days early (usually a Friday jabber) as i'm away and will take when I return next friday. 5 day stretch to a 9 day stretch which will be interesting 🫠
I'm currently doing maintenance with lotus as I heard they were a little more relaxed with going longer between doses. I did find i kept getting messages though and felt I had to order so gave in after about 57 days. I have one 5mg pen sat in the fridge and one 2.5mg pen so I don't really need to order yet. The 5mg pen will last me about 8 doses as it is a golden dose one. Not sure about thr 2.5mg pen but I imagine its one of the newer ones.

I’ve been stuck at 76 point something for a couple of weeks. I’ve had a bit of a run of social stuff, mostly involving eating and drinking which has slowed me down, plus my period started on Monday and my weight crept up to 77 kg.

So I was delighted this morning to see 75.5 kg on the scale. In imperial, that’s 11 stone 12, so I’m feeling more comfortably in the 11s now.

I also took the plunge and joined the gym this week. My Pilates class is suspended till September but I want to keep doing something so joined the local gym to make a start on some resistance training,

Here are my stats:

SW: 109 kg
CW: 75.5 kg
GW: 66 kg

I’ve lost 33.5 kg (or 74lbs) since late September last year. My BMI is down from 40.5 to 28.
