Medexpress reorder refused. What now?

Anyone had this? I am two doses in to my first 2.5mg pen. I just had my email prompt to reorder so I went through to the form. Refused. Not eligible?

I emailed them and apparently new research has come in which means they are “no longer able to treat some of their existing patients.”

So I literally just started and that’s it I can’t even get a second pen.

Try Numan, show them your previous prescription or tell them you’re switching from another provider so they will understand your bmi has dipped. The reorder is automatic so none of this having to reorder every month and their customer service and clinical help and advice is amazing. The app is really useful for tracking meds, logging weight etc. I’ve been with them 8 months and never had a single issue. Despatch is v fast and carries properly cold packed.

Check the weight loss discount thread for new customer discount codes as the Numan one is huge. I’ve listed in there and so have others so you’ll find the code easily.

You’re not being bullied. Saying you are over and over doesn’t make it true.

This is a thread about weight loss jabs. You posted about a site which some disagreed was helpful (and someone else agreed it was). It’s not about you and never was.

Changingdisincase · 20/05/2025 19:56

Good news folks! After calling them and about five emails back and forth everything’s approved and on its way. Not entirely sure of the reason but they were prompt and helpful.

Spoke to soon. Still emailing back and forth with customer support - this is so painful 😂

I've just been approved for Oushk and they are delivering the pen tomorrow! Just change OP!

Ordered with Asda this eve. I’m not wasting any more time with Medexpress it’s a shit show. And they’re cheaper.

Asda asked if I was already taking injections but didn’t ask for proof of the prescription. Maybe they’ll ask for that when they review it.

Not hearing good things about Med Express lately.

Yep I said yes to had I used it before. It was weird as the form came up and said at the top “we’ve pre-filled your information” etc. But they hadn’t so I was filling it in from scratch.

I emailed them to ask why and this is what they said:

“We regularly review our protocols and patient safety is our priority. Due to changes in guidance and new research on GLP1s, our Senior Clinical Team have revised our eligibility criteria for GLP1 treatment.

Unfortunately this has meant that we are unable to treat some of our existing patients. We understand that this decision may be frustrating and disappointing.”

What pharmacy are you using please?

Changingdisincase · 24/05/2025 06:45

@TheGreyBee that was Medexpress I got my first pen from and had all these problems trying to reorder.

CoilHell · 25/05/2025 20:07

medexpress really are taking the piss. I ordered my second pen 10 days ago and my order is still awaiting clinical review. I emailed on Friday and received a response saying “I have now sent your order to the pharmacist for review”. What? Where was it before?

from their website I understood that once approved for your first order you were left alone for 6 months before a review. Perhaps I misunderstood

Changingdisincase · 25/05/2025 20:54

I’ve got to the point of giggles at how bad they’ve been this week. Multiple customer service and clinical representatives all trying to help but sending me round and round in circles.

I've said it before and I am sure I will end up saying it again (and those who are happy with them will come along to say they are fine!) but I DO NOT GET why anybody uses medexpress!

Because they’re much better than the other two I’ve used. Not that hard to understand and I’ve had zero issues with them.

I hope you get sorted OP. It’s annoying they’ve given you the run around.

Fatrosrhun · 26/05/2025 14:04

I just don’t understand why they’re advertising so much for new customers when they can’t seem to cope with those they have and their reputation is getting tarnished.

Changingdisincase · 26/05/2025 14:24

Agree they seem rather incompetent. I am waiting to see if my Asda order goes through and if not I’ll regroup.

I went with them because I was super anxious about starting (not something I saw as remotely normal and hiding it from everyone except my SIL and DH) but SIL and a few of her friends used them so I started there.

I wish I’d seen this thread before ordering from MedExpress. My 2.5 prescription has been “awaiting clinical review” since Monday.

It seems tfy have major stock issues , but rather than state that and risk losing custom they drag the process out, either clinical review or not acceptable photos, until they have stock to send out.

Moderatelyobese · 13/06/2025 18:02

So annoying. And presumably getting a refund and going elsewhere would take forever, too.

Changingdisincase · 13/06/2025 18:13

If it helps mine was resolved in the end. But was slightly delayed. Luckily it took 24hr to arrive and I had started wrangling with them early enough I didn’t have to take a late dose.

OP posts:
Iamthemoom · 13/06/2025 19:04

I’ve been with Numan for almost a year now. I’ve never had a single issue. Never had a late delivery. Through posting my code on here in the code threads I’ve had a discount every single month. Their support both clinical and customer service has been amazing. Their despatch is fast and arrives very well packaged and ice cold. I’ve heard of so many people having issues with the other providers but never heard of anyone having an issue with Numan.

I have just received this exact message from Med Express but with no other details. I have been with them since April and am now on 12.5mg Mounjaro. They have just cut me off with aside from anything else is medically not advised but they refuse to offer an explanations or advice.

Changingdisincase · 18/05/2025 19:01

Will take a look thank you! Feels very Wild West tbh. Why would you email me telling me to increase to 5mg and then refuse to prescribe (I asked to stay on 2.5 I didn’t want to increase yet).

This has happened to me today!

Changingdisincase · 27/08/2025 16:44

I would keep trying/wait a couple of days. I think mine was a form glitch where it says your details have been pre-populated but mine hadn’t been and then I ended up with loads of back and forth where nobody could answer or said it was done when it wasn’t. I tried to order again a few days later and my height etc was all pre-entered and it worked fine 🤞

They won’t prescribe if bmi is 23 and trying to maintain
