Medexpress reorder refused. What now?

Changingdisincase · 18/05/2025 18:44

Anyone had this? I am two doses in to my first 2.5mg pen. I just had my email prompt to reorder so I went through to the form. Refused. Not eligible?

I emailed them and apparently new research has come in which means they are “no longer able to treat some of their existing patients.”

So I literally just started and that’s it I can’t even get a second pen.

The prices on www.monj.co.uk have the discount already applied if you look at the discount prices list. You have to use the codes on the right side of the table to get to those prices. It's very accurate and upto date. We all use it! Also please remember that a starter discount only applies to your first pen. For non discounted prices look at the retail price list then either switch up monthly or find one you like to look of with future prices and continue.

I found monj.co.uk rubbish for having their prices up to date , tried with several suppliers and they all ended significantly more expensive than advertised .
Anyone else ?

You aren't using the website right, please read my post above.

astridforty · 18/05/2025 21:26

I stayed on 2.5 with MedExpress for 10 ish pens, no issue. They recommend an increase on each reminder email but you can just reorder the same dose from your account.

I’ve had exceptionally helpful email support from them, echoing PP, I’d just ask them to clarify what’s changed.

Changingdisincase · 18/05/2025 19:32

Oh interesting @Goingawayistricky
was that using the link to your account from the reorder email? Should I try again tomorrow?

Yes it took a few tries. I have two phones and a laptop. My guess it that I was logged in on one and it was gumming up getting the email link to work.
Its annoying but it works from the email link eventually.
( I think I filled in their survey last time giving them a high rating. Will flag it up if they ask again)

Yes, this is obvious.
The price was still wrong for Numan.

I've literally just checked it, it's correct. You must be looking at the discount price list not the retail price list for the standard prices.

12purplepencils · 18/05/2025 21:42

Pretty sure it said £125 for the 10mg on the discount price list. I clicked the link and followed through,
Numan are annoying as they don't charge you or make clear how much it is until after you're approved, although they get card authorisation up front.

They took ages to approve then payment was just taken without me confirming again.

It was £145.

I phoned them and explained, they said £145 is the lowest they'd ever do the 10mg pen with any discount code.

It really doesn't matter, you should always double check the prices first and not rely on the list, I'm over it now!

I just thought it was a bit rude of you to basically say "no, you're wrong, you've used the list wrong, the prices are all always correct"!

Burnserns · 18/05/2025 21:45

Medexpress have stocking issues at the moment with the lower dossages . This might be a delaying tactic. Honestly, I would avoid ME like the plague, much better and cheaper suppliers out there.

I've just used the link referral to fake a consultation for 10mg with Numan and its offered me it at £109. I literally said you have to use the codes on the right (or links). Also i didn't say you're all wrong so stop misquoting me and you've just called me rude so stop the personal attacks, absolutely no need and i will report you.
I know the website is very accurate as I've been on mounjaro for over 7 months and used 4 prescribers from the website, people put time and effort into making it very accurate and getting discount codes for everyone etc. I've also seen the same comments on mumsnet and fbook forums many times and people don't realise there are different price lists and codes on the right to use so was letting them know.

MyScaredCat · 18/05/2025 21:50

I ordered my 2nd pen from medexpress yesterday. They emailed to say there was a problem as I hadn’t selected to titrate up a dose. I replied saying that I wanted to stay on
2.5. it has been dispatched today and I’ve had a Royal Mail email saying it’s coming Tuesday

12purplepencils · 18/05/2025 22:10

@Mysticmaiden you did come across as rude and patronising.

I'm sure it was unintentional and monj.co.uk is a great resource to have.

I don't think Numan are transparent on price until the very end of the order process.

I'm just sharing my experience and what their own customer service representative said.

Fatrosrhun · 18/05/2025 22:38

I found the prices on monj.co.U.K. weren’t correct when I went onto one of the companies websites. They were higher. I ended up with a link from Facebook anyway for this first pen.

Were you factoring in postage? Monj.co.uk priced have the postage included.

Edit- assuming you meant the monj.co.uk price was higher. If the companies prices was higher did you apply the discount code?

esme19 · 18/05/2025 22:59

I’ve found pillsorted good

Bigfatsunandclouds · 19/05/2025 15:00

Did you get sorted OP? Mine hasn't come up with the pre filled form either this month annoyingly. Do you just keep trying until it does?

Changingdisincase · 19/05/2025 17:49

@Bigfatsunandclouds i rang them and Customer Services don’t know why. Could be a glitch or could be a clinical reason. They’ve referred it to the Clinical Team to confirm 😕

Will update when I know!

I've just changed to Oushk, awaiting approval but I wanted to shift to them anyway because of their stance on maintenance so this just shoved me in that direction! It's a shame though as I didn't really want the faff of doing it right now.

No issues here. Got a lower dose sent out same day with MedExpress last week, I've used a few now and MedExpress are the best one for me, I have had a shocking experience with one of the others

Changingdisincase · 19/05/2025 18:53

@Bigfatsunandclouds i’ll give them a chance to explain and put it right but if not will be doing same 😢

@MyScaredCat just seen your post. I did ask for 2.5 again not 5 so I guess that might have triggered?

Stop the bullying!!! How dare you personally attack me. Who the hell do you think you are. I think you need to look at yourself and how aggressive you sound.

Sandra1985 · 19/05/2025 20:58

Their loss! That’s what I would say. I was with Numan before and had a similar experience. They told me I couldn’t have it because I told them after I started that I was on metformin. I’ve gone to a smaller company onlinemeds, lesser known company but it’s up front prices and get much better support! Very happy now

You know that “come across” is different from “you are”.

With Oushk, don't worry if they take ages to approve.

I switched to them recently and could have a delivery on 13th May but chose 15th, and was quite nervous when at lunchtime on 14th they still hadn't approved it. But then they suddenly approved it and it arrived as expected on the 15th. So I assume they don't approve until they are about to send it.
