Team RH now trying to cash in - avoid!

So after years of slagging off any weight loss methods that aren't his and taking huge swipes at people using weight loss injections, RH has now launched a Mounjaro plan.

He claims he is doing this because he cares "unlike other PTs" while simultaneously saying everyone on Mounjaro is eating shit and hammering alcohol in a bid to justify his attacks.

He does not understand WLI so he is not in a position to give advice on it.

Avoid!

NEVER SIGN WITH TEAM RH!!

I've been on the receiving end of his bullshit on fb and it was awful, the guy is a genuine, grade A prick!

PumpKim · 17/05/2025 06:45

I follow TeamRH. His approach doesn't offend me, he talks sense. He's a business at the end of the day and he's seen an opportunity in the market. That's what businesses do. He's basically said so. SW and others are also now trying to catch up by welcoming WLIers.

@WompWompBoom, I'd think carefullybefore signing up to Team RH. There are lots of stories about not being able to cancel membership and extremely poor customer service. He's a money grabber, as he's proving by attempting to cash in on the WLI boom.

I signed up a couple of years ago but then soon after, decided to cancel. I found a thread on Reddit discussing his tactics with people cancelling. Mainly saying its just scare mongering tactics. I just cancelled my DD with my bank. I got a bit of a shitty email, which I knew was coming from the people in the Reddit thread, but nothing further.

I don't mind Team RH. And in fairness his stuff about slimming world is about right.

i'm on Mounjaro and am struggling to find what I should be eating protein wise etc so I'm debating signing up. (I've not ever done so before).

He did also take it himself to see how it all worked for him. He's absolutely cashing in, but his apps are apparently normally pretty good and at least he's not like SW CEO who's trying to get the WLI restricted more. He's adapting to what he knows is here to stay. I haven't seen his swipes at people who were going to take the WLI previously though so may have a nosy back through his page and see if I can find it (which may sway me to not sign up to be fair).

Any weight loss brand that just slags off another is not worth any consideration imo.
We are all different. Thousands and thousands of people have succeeded with SW. others haven’t. When Margaret Miles Bramwell died, many people credited her with saving their lives.
SW doesn’t work for me. But I will defend it because it works for many. It’s almost as if we’re all different, isn’t it?
Team RH are nasty, shouty bullies. Wouldn’t suit me. Obvs suits some though.

Incorporating WLI I can understand tbh, as a business he had to move with any changes in the industry. Speaking to and about people in the way he does absolutely should offend you. He is vile and I find it utterly crazy that you are not offended. You much have a really low bar when it comes to men.

twentysevendresses · 17/05/2025 09:26

He is an ABSOLUTE charlatan! It’s impossible to cancel your subscription. Plus he’s utterly vile as a human.

Ah yes I’m sure the man who doesn’t need or ever needed weight suppressing jags is such a role model. Who is forever using women to slag them off promoting his brand. Who creates fake reviews on his trust pilot.

Honestly dig deeper and you’ll find out what this man does behind closed doors to his customers and his staff. His chats with the staff are on the internet to see. Is he really someone to respect?

polpolpolpol · 17/05/2025 10:54

@PumpKimI'm not sure why you have laugh reacted at my comment? I suppose if that’s the only response you have to my suggesting you have a low bar to must have hit a very raw nerve.

I will never pass up the opportunity to warn people off Ritchie and team RH. He is an awful awful man and a misogynist. He has a terrible reputation amongst the fitness community in the north east and rightly so for many reasons.

He is not interested in supporting his customers , he is only interested in money. He is trying to pivot to WLI's in the same way weight watchers is..... because it's hitting his bottom line hard. Avoid like the plague.
