Team RH now trying to cash in - avoid!

So after years of slagging off any weight loss methods that aren't his and taking huge swipes at people using weight loss injections, RH has now launched a Mounjaro plan.

He claims he is doing this because he cares "unlike other PTs" while simultaneously saying everyone on Mounjaro is eating shit and hammering alcohol in a bid to justify his attacks.

He does not understand WLI so he is not in a position to give advice on it.

I'm glad you don't know who they are, but the clue was in the title! Team RH, a quite toxic fitness group lead by a ragey man!

I don't mind Team RH. And in fairness his stuff about slimming world is about right.

i'm on Mounjaro and am struggling to find what I should be eating protein wise etc so I'm debating signing up. (I've not ever done so before).

He did also take it himself to see how it all worked for him. He's absolutely cashing in, but his apps are apparently normally pretty good and at least he's not like SW CEO who's trying to get the WLI restricted more. He's adapting to what he knows is here to stay. I haven't seen his swipes at people who were going to take the WLI previously though so may have a nosy back through his page and see if I can find it (which may sway me to not sign up to be fair).

Everyone is different. SW works for many people. CICO for others. Keto for yet more etc.

Utterly opposed to injecting with no medical checks. Filling in a form doesn't cut it for me.

@WompWompBoom, I'd think carefullybefore signing up to Team RH. There are lots of stories about not being able to cancel membership and extremely poor customer service. He's a money grabber, as he's proving by attempting to cash in on the WLI boom.

Thanks @Greyrockin It's starting to sound like one to avoid! I only came across him when I was searching for Mounjaro diet plans to make sure I was eating the best I could. I then lost a few hours of my life reading his stuff, other people's stuff etc.

He tried WLI? I didn't know this but my first question would be 'did he REALLY'?! If he did, then they can't have been authentic as he wouldn't meet criteria for them with his BMI and photos and even if he did manage to get around all of that, he has never experienced things the way we have to feel a difference. Maybe I'm misunderstanding you?

RH is an awful person, with zero interest in helping people. He only cares about his brand. It's a real shame really as in the early days he did a lot of good - I was an early member and it was a fun, supportive group with decent online coaching.
Then he got bigger, started getting likes for being more obnoxious and swearing more. The coaching pretty much stopped in favour of berating people. Most of the coaching came from the team, very few who have any experience in coaching, nutrition or training. The app was a joke and he was more interested in being a personality and flogging branded gear than actually coaching people. So many horror stories of bullying, poor service, dodgy business practices etc. I'm not remotely surprised he's jumped on this bandwagon tbh.

No one cares (about what you think). This is the injections board. If you're opposed to it, good for you; Don't take it.

@Ruby5lipper on the video I saw the other day he said he took the WLI. His BMI is high enough to get it according to him and he explained he did lose weight on it. And that's helped him develop the app.

It's in the thread title! 'Team RH' is literally the name of the brand. Hardly the OPs fault if you've not heard of it, but a quick google would have informed you 🙄

@WompWompBoom I saw the same video. If I hadn't read lots of negative posts on here about the organisation I think that I might have been tempted to sign up.

I saw something about this on the Oushk FB group which was off-putting enough.

So if he needs to take weight loss injections his actual brand/Team RH plan doesn’t work, then?

@WompWompBoom re protein - 1g of protein per kg of body weight is my understanding. If you use a tracker, it will work it out for you.

I like his app . Easy to use and good ideas - different strokes for different folks and all that

Seems a good idea to expand his business to include the massive amount of people who are taking the jab - hopefully they will find it useful

It isn't a case of 'different strokes and all that' when it comes to RH

He is a terrible human being and threatens those who sign up to his app and then wish to leave within 12 months. He has no legal reason for this

My god, any woman giving this misogynistic vile bully money needs to research what they’re actually supporting.
He was quick to slag off the jags.
In fact he’s quick to slag off his own members and staff, and any negative reviews that appear, he sends his flying monkeys in to try and drown it out.
