So after years of slagging off any weight loss methods that aren't his and taking huge swipes at people using weight loss injections, RH has now launched a Mounjaro plan.

He claims he is doing this because he cares "unlike other PTs" while simultaneously saying everyone on Mounjaro is eating shit and hammering alcohol in a bid to justify his attacks.

He does not understand WLI so he is not in a position to give advice on it.

Avoid!

Honestly he is sweary and unsubtle but tbf most of what his says is valid. His "diet" is balanced and healthy and promotes being active each day via a step goal.

If you watch his video about taking MJ it explains why he did it and that the purpose of that option on his app to help people make the right choices about what they eat, even whilst using the injections. He correctly points out that people need to keep up their protein intake to avoid losing muscle mass and actually learn new healthy habits whilst on the injections.

His app coaches you to eat high protein, high fibre, good nutritional balance. Plus take a decent number of steps every day. There's nothing really to argue against common sense.

So although his no-bullshit style isn't for everyone, he does speak sense.

Thats like saying my abuser is a good person really. Come on.

KaySam · 05/01/2025 09:41

He doesn’t give a shit about anyone losing weight,he just wants the money, wasn’t too long ago he was calling people on weight loss injections fat lazy cunts but can now see the pound signs.

He is a horrible vile man, notice when he slags people off he always gives them women’s names.
He bullied a woman really badly and threatened her,James smith actually paid for a solicitor for the woman to get RH off her back.
he had people working on his team, who’d have bariatric surgery and then lost a few pound with him,so therefor claimed they’d done the weight loss with him.
he doesn’t like negative reviews that’s why he sent an email to the Jason Manford group threatening court action if bad reviews weren’t removed,I imagine he didn’t mind the positive ones though. (All mentions of that group are banned in the JM page )

The only person he wants to help is himself,

DarkForces · 05/01/2025 09:57

@KaySam he sounds lovely. I may be a lazy cunt but at least I'll be a slim lazy cunt thanks to Mounjaro!

Ruby5lipper · 05/01/2025 10:51

I can't quite understand why he had to take WLI as a stunt. What does that achieve? I guess I should find the video but don't want to give him more reach!

He can't even hide his disdain to promote his plan.

He thinks the jabs only help because they cause a calorie deficit and doesn't accept anything about insulin resistance and fat metabolisation.

Assuming he's a healthy weight god knows what he's injecting as no licensed pharmacist would touch him. Maybe that accounts for his fury at the world?

PickledOwl1 · 05/01/2025 11:16

@Huskytrot oh stop it now.

NeverDropYourMooncup · 05/01/2025 11:28

TinkerTinbell · 04/01/2025 08:55

Utterly opposed to injecting with no medical checks. Filling in a form doesn't cut it for me. @StMarie4me

No one cares (about what you think). This is the injections board. If you're opposed to it, good for you; Don't take it.

Edited

It sounds like the absence of a proper medical check is the problem for this poster, not any fundamental opposition to the concept because people should suffer to be thin.

His BMI will be the right range for it due to his muscle

MorrisZapp · 05/01/2025 11:30

James Smith takes injections too.

JasonTindallsTan · 05/01/2025 11:39

His BMI is high because it’s a crude measurement, he won’t have had to lie to anyone.

I don’t see the issue in him not letting people out of their membership early. If you sign up to a 12 month contract then it’s within his rights to enforce that contract and why shouldn’t he? It’s his business. A lot of what you pay for with RH you get upfront, if he didn’t enforce contracts he’d have a lot of people signing up, getting all of the info and then cancelling, it’d not be the best business plan. The other alternative would be charging upfront for a year which I’m sure wouldn’t suit a lot of people either.

Sometimes I think he can go a bit far but in the main I don’t mind his brand of ‘advice’. He’s not wrong when he says a lot of people make excuses for not being more active. I’ve done it myself. But then dieting is hard. I can’t do it without help.

At least with the MJ plan he has formulated you can have some confidence that you’re getting the nutrients your body still needs, it’s really the kind of stuff that should be available alongside being prescribed the injections. There was a gap in the market there and fair enough that he’s capitalised on it in my view 🤷🏼‍♀️

PickledOwl1 · 05/01/2025 11:54

@JasonTindallsTan he acts unlawfully with regards to his 'contracts' - they are not in any way enforceable yet he threatens people into believing they are

He calls women cunts. He jumps on any passing bandwagon

And still some women defend him. Makes me wonder what's gone on in their lives to do so ...

JasonTindallsTan · 05/01/2025 12:03

I mean chill out. I’m not his mam, it’s not that deep. I assumed his contracts were as enforceable as any other contract. Why shouldn’t they be? If you sign up for something for an agreed length of time why shouldn’t you be liable to pay for that time? It’s a business not a charity. If you sign up for a gym membership for a year then you can bet they’ll come after you if you decide to stop paying after 2 months.

What about calling women cunts? Do people need to chill out about that as well?

JasonTindallsTan · 05/01/2025 14:14

I was talking about the contracts. Calling someone a cunt (unless they are a cunt - and even if they are probs not a wise business move) isn’t acceptable. But I’ve never seen him do that so 🤷🏼‍♀️

PickledOwl1 · 05/01/2025 14:42

@JasonTindallsTan there's not one other fitness type person who attempts to enforce a contract. Because there simply is no contract to enforce

As an example - sign up to Caroline's Circuits or Jo Wicks. Both have very professional well run apps filled with content. Cancel after a month. What will happen? Nothing. You've just cancelled

Sign up with this moron and cancel and see what happens. Barely literate emails threatening you

Just apply a bit of critical thinking

JasonTindallsTan · 05/01/2025 15:57

Given I’m not a contracts lawyer I’d have thought it was reasonable to believe that if I signed up to something on the basis that I was agreeing to pay for it over a 12 month period that I was signing up to a contract. If I tried to cancel it in the interim I’d expect to be chased for the outstanding balance. Why do you expect not to be?

And seriously, get in the bin with your patronising ‘apply a bit of critical thinking’.

nowandnever · 05/01/2025 21:24

Just want to add to the warnings to steer well clear of Team RH. I followed him for a while, did his plan and it was all very sensible advice. Got firstly turned off by the swearing, and the fact he always seemed to be the victim of other people trying to get at him. Multiple videos posted on this.
Final straw was during the whole Johnny Depp - Amber Heard court case when he posted an anti AH rant and I made a (very mild) comment about JD wasn't entirely blameless. He completely freaked out, and egged his followers on to attack me just for this one comment disagreeing with him - he took active pleasure in the comments they were making. I had to block him and quite a few other people. Had women messaging me saying they'd been attacked by him as well.
He's a tool. Not saying his dietary advice isn't sensible. But he's a tool.

Orangesandlemons77 · 06/01/2025 17:32

I think one of the nice things about MJ is needing less of this stuff and being able to eat more intuitively but maybe that's just me.

It doesn't look like much more that you could get for free with something like My Fitness Pal anyway?

Orangesandlemons77 · 06/01/2025 17:36

Just had a look here, might be worth a look, as mentioned here seems dodgy

@JasonTindallsTan sorry you found me patronising 😔

Don't sign up with RH any time soon will you? You'll be more than patronised! Grin

rh? Am I a mind reader 😂

why do you need to be a mind reader? The brand name is Team RH, OP doesn’t need to make it any clearer

Girlfolk · 07/01/2025 14:58

I can't stand this guy, he clearly hates women. For anyone saying he just has a 'no bullshit' style, there's a difference between being straight talking and downright misogynistic and offensive. Direct quotes from his tiktoks:
'You're full of shit, the reason why you're f*king fat is because you blame everything else apart from the fact you're lobbing too much food down your pie hole. It's not your thyroid, it's not PCOS, it's not your hormones.... do you think I'm going to lick your arse just because you follow us? F*k off'
and also
'Have a look at the size of your f*king fanny, that's right it's fat at f*k aint it'...
These sort of comments are never directed at a hypothetical male. To anyone reading, please don't consider giving this guy your money!

There's no gap in the market. Plenty of services offering support alongside the jabs. I'm with Juniper and it's way better than what his programme looks like. Oh and I had I had a full medical consultation before being prescribed the medication. You also have to show you are overweight in lots of ways not just BMI. I call bullshit on him being prescribed the medication.

MrsMiagi · 14/05/2025 15:41

I followed team rh years ago and was doing quite well. I asked on the group how people were logging/managing alcohol with mothers day coming up. He jumped on that message, called me a lazy time waster and to eff off basically. It was really harsh and uncalled for, like he got a mad rage amd went a bit mental. I was convinced he was on drugs it was so bizarre.
