My weight has been bobbing up and down a lot over the last month, and does seem to be very affected by salty foods and exercise making me retain water (as there’s no way I’ve eaten enough of a deficit to lose 3.5lbs in a week). However, according to Shotsy, I average between 0.9-1lb a week loss and that feels in line with what I’m eating/exercising.
I’m wondering what to do when the Mounjaro price rises come into play. I’ve probably got enough of a stash due to be delivered to do which will last till the end of the year as I’ve got a 3 week holiday coming up and won’t be taking my pen with me. I’m being bombarded with Slimpod adverts on Facebook now and might take a punt on that since I’ve not experienced suppression like many people have; I’ve just lost the desire to snack mindlessly. It seems like Slimpod might help control that part of my brain which would be better in the long run.
I’ve never set myself an official goal. Whether it is true or not, I once read that having a large frame allows for a 10% uplift on BMI, so I have a vague notion of 11st 7lbs in my head but then I think about my wedding weight of 11st 2lbs, or getting to the 10’s, or. 9st 5lbs when I could sit on the toilet naked and not have my belly flop out over my thighs 😀 However, my weight loss is making my body shape change as I can’t shift my menopause belly and I’m not terribly keen on what’s happening to my skin. I pray for a miracle that my skin will catch up with my weight loss and spend about 10 minutes a day oiling myself up in the hope that it will help. Replacing my entire wardrobe from scratch might dissuade me from going all the way though…
