It's in the fridge and I'm going to take the plunge on Monday!
Feeling really nervous about it all. Anyone due to start next week too?

Yep I have the same red mark

Beyondbeliefsometimes · 15/07/2024 23:51

It will be great OP, I was so nervous when I first started in April. I'm now 22lb down. Side effects have been minimal, experienced one week of nausea when moved up to 7.5mg but all settled again now.

I'm not sure what provider you use, I'm currently using voy and they give discount if I share a code to whoevee uses it and me, so anyone is welcome to use it if it is of any help. joinvoy.com/r/U-1j2i3PWHNt

Any questions about my experience I'm happy to answer.

Monkeyseesmonkeydoesn · 16/07/2024 07:05

I've definitely got the nausea symptom! Hopefully it won't last too long while my body adjusts! Spent most of the night feeling queasy 😔

ToriMJ · 16/07/2024 07:05

Burpy in bed last night but peppermint tea really helped.
Interestingly, I usually have a terrible pelvic joint in the morning, particularly bad lately and when I get up I can barely bend over. This morning it feels fine!! I had heard there were some anti inflammatory properties of mj so I wonder if that's happening or it's a fluke.
Very interesting.
I'm hungry this morning, but I ate hardly anything yesterday through nerves so to be expected I guess.

When did you start?

Yesterday morning..

ToriMJ · 16/07/2024 07:16

Sorry I scrolled back to check and couldn't see your name, I'm not brilliant at remembering names.
Hopefully it will pass after something for breakfast. I've got some electrolyte tablets which I'm dropping one in my water bottle each day as apparently they might help? Who knows

Yesterday I had two meals and some small snacks in the evening and by bedtime felt uncomfortable as if I'd stuffed myself. This morning I've had overnight oats I made with fresh apricots, blackcurrants and flaxseed. I wasn't desperately hungry but have read small regular meals best and want to try and have a normal routine of meals just healthier, smaller, no snacking.

Day 2 feel so tired and sluggish anyone else? Going to have some breakfast and vitamins/ supplements see if that helps! Is it just me or does time go by slower when not constantly eating 🫠😅

I'm exhausted @SJLO and I'm on Day 2 also. No idea how I will do my work today as all I want to do is sleep. Still, makes a change from obsessing about food.

SJLO · 16/07/2024 09:33

@HundredMilesAnHour I am off today thankfully but luckily don't have plans as I want to just sleep!Hope it passes for you. I've seen a few posts on here saying day two is worse, must be it kicking in properly I expect. Defo better than wanting to eat constantly. Planning to try and eat 3 small meals today only ate once yesterday. Also I'm usually obsessed with chocolate and couldn't think of anything worse, what is this sorcery! 😅

This thread is fab and keeps me going!
My 1st weigh in will be this Friday around 4pm
Yesterday I felt a bit sluggish but back to feeling ok again today and feeling like I have more energy
stood on the scales this morning and have so far lost 2lbs
a bit disappointed to be honest
Do you think that you can eat too little in a day and it affects your weight loss?
x

I feel shattered today. I dragged myself out of bed to do my morning workout and am only starting to feel properly awake now. I definitely felt hungry this morning but in a non urgent way (probably makes no sense) so having some Greek yogurt and a banana to see if it wakes me up a bit.

I felt like this yesterday very lethargic
today I feel so much better
I also felt hungry when I woke up but it eased off through the day

SirKeirStarmer · 16/07/2024 11:26

I'm feeling hungry today! Went to bed full as a lord last night after eating small but healthy meals yesterday. No snacking as I felt I didn't need to.

Woke up today feeling quite full but had yogurt and fruit for breakfast.

Starving now!

ToriMJ · 16/07/2024 11:33

Was very burpy and bubbly last night in bed, a bit indigestiony. Didn't eat very much as was worried about what could happen. Absolutely shattered from 5pm onwards.
Today feeling normal with a very slight indigestion feeling. Had a boiled egg for breakfast, am on a 12 hr shift so will need to brave some more food in a bit but not feeling hungry.
Trying to drink plenty, have put half an electrolyte tablet in my water bottle this morning and have a flask of peppermint tea on the go.
Not sure if lack of hunger is related to MJ or just reluctance to experience side effects at work but either way it's a calorie deficit haha

Started Sunday. SW 12 12.
So far the only side effects I have is constipation and cold hands.
And my stomach is quite bruised.

HeBeaverandSheBeaver · 16/07/2024 11:46

Yes marks gone.

Was hungry in waking but now not hungry at all. Be interesting how I feel when I sit down and have time to think about food.

Felt slightly nauseous half hour ago but had a drink of water and ok now.

Not weighing until Friday so that be five days from jab.

Monkeyseesmonkeydoesn · 16/07/2024 11:50

I'm feeling ok now. I've had a protein yogurt and have brought a sandwich for lunch but not feeling particularly hungry. Though will try and eat as I'm planning work out later so will need the energy.

dogdaydisaster · 16/07/2024 12:05

It’s day 4 for me. Sleeping really well and the tiredness seems to be wearing off. Had a normal sized dinner last night (a gousto meal so not a huge portion) and felt a bit queasy afterwards. Stayed within my cals and woke up feeling a little hungry. Did a strength workout and a peloton climb rode and felt fine. Could have skipped breakfast but made a protein smoothie, again felt a bit queasy afterwards. Just put some egg bites and chicken sausages in the oven to give me quick breakfasts with plenty of protein for the rest of the week. Hope everyone gets over the weariness soon.

HeBeaverandSheBeaver · 16/07/2024 12:39

Made my son a back. Sandwich. He is off as gsce year and constantly hungry.

Usually I'd be really tempted to make myself one too but no urge at all Dispite bacon smell and not eating yet.

It's strange

Wishthiswasntmypost · 16/07/2024 13:12

Lunch is a banana and I'm not feeling hard done by or mournful which I would be if restricting myself normally 😆

I have a headache which may be incidental. Otherwise fine. I've suffered a lack of energy anyway recently and just assumed I'd lost fitness

I am also a peloton fan and nearly died on my ride this morning, I felt soo fatigued. I hope it gets better in a few days! There was no way I could do weights!
