Chandlers Ford. Right in the middle of the Southampton snow shield. Forecast's just been downgraded to the odd few flakes of stuff, and it doesn't feel quite cold enough and a bit too damp.

I have snow. Woo Hoo!

Du Pain, I don't think it will be an issue, but I can't make any promises either way I'm afraid.

Light snow was falling here north of Bath five minutes ago, now stopped.
DH said temperature had dropped to 1° but no ice on the cars.
Bit of a non-event at the moment long may that last because I hate snow and ice.....sorry!

Wait, so no snow in Lewes tonight? There MUST be some snow coming our way...

3 miles inland from Eastbourne (South Coast) & it has just started gently snowing.

Much as I love Gloria & Kitten, I H A T E snow!

Gloria We had about an hour of very light slushy snow that hasn’t stuck. Nothing since! Poor DD is so disappointed!

South Wales just outside Newport. No snow. According to everything it should be hoofing it down! I wanna day off tomorrow!!!!!

None here yet, seems to be stuck over the brecon beacons and maybe as far as hereford and leominster so near yet so far!

You prompted me to look out of the window AGAIN and it is indeed ever so slightly snowing. Unfortunately it's not enough to make me happy but seems enough to make you unhappy! Shall we just agree that it is rubbish?

Holly ~ that's disappointing and shows how marginal things can be when it comes to snow.

itsazoohere ~ I would have thought being that far inland, you'd be getting something but you might have the same problem as Holly and be just that little too close to the coast and end up with rain/sleet/something slushy and there are so many good hills in the area for sledging, aren't there?! (My Dad's from Lewes!)

We've been promised snow all week and now it seems to have vanished!

After about an hour of faffy slushy nonsense, it's just started to really go for it now- looks to be settling too. West Sussex is back in the game.

Now it’s stopped again! Honestly!

I’m not getting much done this evening - looking out of the window every five minutes.

Caticorn ~ think there might be the odd flake/snow shower for Birmingham but think that's about it for tonight/tomorrow.

I love reading all the snow updates. Thank you. I am very envious as we have missed it completely in Cambridgeshire

Weather app says snow showers now. Observations (aka looking out of the window) disagree.
