I saw some hazy sunshine for about 30 seconds this afternoon when the sun broke through the clouds. The solar pond fountain leapt into life...then that was it. But hopefully more to come after the weekend and the metoffice outlook seems to think temperatures are going in the right direction at last.
Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:
Sunday will bring a mixture of sunshine and showers with fresher winds in the West. Monday and Tuesday look mainly dry and bright, but windy further west with rain later.
UK Outlook for Wednesday 18 Apr 2018 to Friday 27 Apr 2018:
Through the end of next week the weather will be mainly settled, with many areas seeing plenty of sunshine. There may be some mist or fog around during the early morning, but this will clear quickly. Eastern areas will benefit from the driest weather and temperatures here could be rather warm at times. Western areas however could turn wetter and windier at the weekend with temperatures closer to the average for the time of year. As we head through the week after next, there is perhaps a small chance of some unsettled conditions with rain and showers, although it is more likely we will see largely fine, dry and settled weather with temperatures likely to be above average for the time of year.
