Another heatwave due?

Does anyone know whether we're getting another heatwave after this rain? A friend has said that we're having mega hot weather until September after this spell of wet weather.

today in Central Scotland we have strong winds, grey skies and lashing rain sigh. i have made a pot of warming soup!

i believe it might stop raining on Tuesday....

Yesterday I had a radio presenter say 27 by Tuesday, 32 by Wednesday in London. Something to do with a plume of air coming from Spain who have 117F?!
Accuweather still sticking with a max of 27 and bbc still staying 22. Someone should run a sweepstake. Maybe money raised should go for Scottish and Londoners train fares to have a home swap.

Hmm looks like all the forecasts are now agreeing it will only be about 24/25 Wednesday. Maybe 26 Tuesday (SE). Then cooler and rainy from Thursday....

today was quite hot I thought but not as bad as I feared.

looks like rest of week will be okay, yay.

eek, humidity. feel like a dog lying flat as a pancake with tongue hanging out!!

According to accueweather the heat the south east has experienced seems to have ended?
Feels like the last six weeks have been gorgeous! Now the schools are off its grey again lol

the weather does look cool and unsettled now into the foreseeable. But with warm/hot temps on the continent, it's not going to take too much to bring the lovely weather back. I'm not feeling too pessimistic at the models yet.

I need it nice in south brittany last two weeks of August! It's usually nice that time of year, fingers and toes crossed...

Much much warmer than any website forecast today, very sunny, got home and flat boiling again. Rain for later, maybe it will cool after? Very humid.

Still suffering here too - despite the temp only being 20 or 21! Inside the flat it's 25-29. Definitely don't want it hotter...

Hemi, it's about 25 outside I think. Nice, just wasn't prepared so didn't leave curtains closed etc.

Humidity very high though.

I was thinking to call a couple of firms in winter, there's probably a way for venting out of these stupid windows and I just don't know what it is.
