Just looked at the latest gfs. ermm. 30C is shown for Saturday. Potential for some decent thunderstorms too. It looks to start warming up on thursday. Cooler on Sunday.

Going to be quite a shock after the cool run we've had if it actually happens. I'm not sure it will tbh.

I don't think it's gorn totally off course ~ it's still due to get warmer towards the end of the week (Friday especially) but looks like it's all going to break down over the weekend, so it's not a very long lasting warm spell.

Haven't got the heating on at home but was when I noticed our local Aldi had it on this morning.

It's been frustratingly cold over all this spring hasn't it? I'd be glad of any daytime temperature of over 15 degrees tbh. Could be thunder here on Friday afternoon. Perhaps it warms up again next week?

I don't usually get involved in the Weather threads in "summer".
However, my heating has been on every evening for the past coupe of weeks, and I've just put it on NOW because I'm working at home, chained to desk and freezing.
Supposed to get bloody awful gales here too in the next hour or so - NW.
I would really appreciate just a couple of warm sunny days. Soon!

My Dh turns off the heating on March and we aren't allowed it back on til October.
We are trying to budget, but pppffft.
So I use the oil filled radiator from the conservatory during the day. Mmmm. Toasty.
And Dh keeps muttering that the bill isn't as low as it should be

One or two nice days then back to crap.
