SE
We had no rain today and had many sunny periods, we were lucky.
4 degrees atm

mankyscotslass · 21/01/2014 20:02

Raining here this evening - chilly but not very cold!

Marne · 21/01/2014 21:10

Chucking it down with rain here again, still chilly but not too cold.

Helenagrace · 21/01/2014 23:19

Oh thank goodness for that! I came on here to read Kitten's forecast because some mad old bat was telling me this evening that we were going to be snowed in next week. I live right on the south coast so I didn't think it was that likely but still...

SpottyTeacakes · 22/01/2014 07:54

Er what happened in the night? Why are all the roads flooded again Confused I've got to go the long way round. Humph.

mankyscotslass · 22/01/2014 07:55

Rainy overnight here, but dry now and still not that cold!

OhYouBadBadKitten · 22/01/2014 07:59

Sunday looks a bit grim tbh - heavy rain and a return of the gales. I wouldn't be surprised to hear of a few trees down, the ground is beyond saturated. Plenty of rain before then too and after. Keeping a bit of an eye on Wednesday when a dip in temps may produce a little snow away from coasts.

Sunday has the whole of the UK covered with a yellow warning for wind and heavy rain. Time to 'batten down the hatches' yet again.

Meglet · 22/01/2014 21:29

The water levels in our park have risen since yesterday despite no rain. The ducks are swimming under the trees where there used to be grass, it's like a little holiday for them.

GloriaSmud · 23/01/2014 07:57

Raining again here (Leicester) and a chilly 3.7C.
Sunday looks really 'orrible and think it's going to be the same places that have suffered enough already this winter, that are going to get it again.
Looks like from Monday things calm down but it gets colder, so then there might be the chance of snow next week.
Goes from one extreme to another.

mankyscotslass · 23/01/2014 08:03

Heavy rain here this morning - I managed to convince DS1 to put on his lightweight raincoat as he ran out to get the school bus.

Thermometer says 5c.

leesmum · 23/01/2014 08:28

Absolutely peeing is down here in Manchester..sky is a weird colour too.....very depressing Sad

SpottyTeacakes · 23/01/2014 08:38

Raining here too now.

Marne · 23/01/2014 11:10

Not raining here in dorset but the wind is getting very strong, we have been warned that tomorrow may bring more flooding and Sundays not looking great.

leesmum · 23/01/2014 13:20

Just had a ton of hailstones....almost looks like we have a light covering of Snow!

ben5 · 23/01/2014 13:41

Hope you all stay safe and dry. I'll exchange a day of rain for a day of sun. Our firefighters need abit of help with the bush fires here in Perth

SpottyTeacakes · 23/01/2014 14:50

Weather warning for Sunday has been lifted from most of the uk.

HesterShaw · 23/01/2014 14:54

It was supposed to be dry today. It isn't. Not even a bit dry Angry.

And tomorrow looks shit as well.

mankyscotslass · 23/01/2014 17:14

Heavy hail, and we have just had a very close strike of fork lighting, and a massive rumble of thunder.

mankyscotslass · 23/01/2014 18:29

And some transient wet snow/sleet followed the one crash and flash!

OhYouBadBadKitten · 23/01/2014 18:57

That sounds rather dramatic manky!!

latest warnings including ice warnings over night.

Sunday, those of you in the east make the most of the mornings weather. Turning wet and windy across the UK especially in the SW. Quite possibly northern and welsh hill snow.

I have just watched the Midlands weather on the BBC. She said 'deteriorating picture' and what looked like a monsoon on the way. Sad

Marne · 23/01/2014 20:30
