Snow Watch Part 3 - The weather continues!

OYBBK It settled pretty thickly in east London, and buses here have been quite badly affected - don't know about central London though, as we've stayed at home today.

It's been snowing here for most of the day .

I am so looking forward to the adventure that is getting into work tomorrow.

Thanks OYBBK, wow really in for a snow day tomorrow then if we get more overnight.

The chap that does that site does an excellent group on facebook. I still trust you more though :o

I'm not sure about Central, but near Leyton, we have about 3 inches.

Thank goodness, thats it's moving northwards. Another day walking the dog while snowing, I don't look forward to. Give those who want it and haven't got it a chance.

SW London - started snowing again a while ago after a break of an hour or so earlier. Fingers crossed school might reconsider in the morning!!!!

Still no snow in South Yorkshire. Keeping fingers crossed for tonight despite drive to work needed tommorow

Oh darn it, Just looked again with my glasses on and it is still snowing powder.SE. Just hope it stops by the morning as my little dog now loves it, even when snowing, but I don't.

What school you at Shattereddreams? Can't work out which school is an old Victorian Building. It's not mines, that's for sure.

Snowing here in Lincs now, but very very fine, so not making much difference. Wonder what I'll be waking up to tomorrow

At last....we have snow in Manchester!!

Kitten, the countryfile Manchester snow-gap was for tomorrow. Please say we'll get some snow, sometime this winter. I'm feeling very left out!

ArkadyRose - That sounds like fun, but doesn't it stain everything in site, including the kids??

Lubey - Just had a look, I might get 'snowed off' if that happens. Confused now, met website still showing 'cloud' in the morning and 'light snow' in the evening. I've also just read OYBBK's view that it tallys with the met site. Totally confused now!!

Maureen - You pull up that duvet and think of me!!

I love walking in the snow :) I don't even mind driving in the snow/ice (I lived in it for long enough not to be bothered by it and have winter tyres) but I fear some of the idiots on the road and the road I have to go to work on is steep and full of idiots and lorrys - sometimes idiots in lorrys :( and worst of all it means getting out of bed very early in the cold and showering in the cold bathroom - brrr Might risk it and leave the heater on overnight. Gulp.

OYBBK I expect central London will be fine BUT getting there on overland trains will be very hit and miss.

Don't think any commuter routes are doing very well right now but they are moving slowly.

It's still snowing the really fine stuff here. Stopped briefly and started again.

Manky, I can only see the snow falling under the street light, it's quite sleety looking. But, where there's precipitation there's hope...
