Heavy rain/thunderstorms over the weekend?

Thought it might be interesting to note who ends up having the heavy rain/thunderstorms that they're forecasting for some areas of the country over the weekend.

We had cloud first thing and a few heavy spots of rain about 20 minutes ago but the sun's beginning to come out now and it's quite humid.

We had a a strom at 1500, just wwhen I was collecting the little mankies.

Most unfortuneatley I was still in the sandals and linen trousers I had worn to work, not having been home since lunchtime.

I got soaked.

Not to mention the fact I was still wearing my prescription sunglasses, so looked very strange!

Manky ~ we had torrential rain about 3pm yesterday here in Leicester too (and I was in summer things as well!)
Must be something about the school run that makes the weather turn!
