Shiny new thread. Work means I've only walked 5.2km this week, though Fitbit says it's 11.9.

Here’s my shiny. All 13cp of him!

I’m going to keep him pink, the other shiny evolutions look rubbish.

This kind of makes up for no shiny slakoth

I managed to get 6 shiny Slakoth, which I'm more than happy with. :o

I didn't realise the weather would affect community day. How was it for people outside of the UK? I was at an event most of the afternoon but managed to slip away around 5pm. There were so few slakoths I had to check what time the event finished as I thought it had ended already. Plenty of Pokemon around but not slakoths, and no shinies. Kind of defeats the purpose of the event if there aren't many doesn't it? I managed over a million XP from all my friend levelling up, thanks. Still a long way to go to get to level 40.

Yeah it was the same for me Tumpy. I took DS to a bday party for the first couple of hours and got away for the last hour but there was hardly anything around. Pretty disappointing.

Apparently it wasn't great around Europe but the countries who are an hour or two ahead of us got that extra hour or two. In my experience it was fine until 3:30 UK time. After that there wasn't even event Pokemon. Maybe the adventure event will be extended another day?

I used some lures today and think that Niantic should reimburse people like me tbh.

Shocker of a PoGo day, and I wish I hadn’t trekked to town to take part. I was in agony and there were so few spawns.

Hoping for better stuff next time.

@ListenLinda my top tip is to make friends. You can level up by becoming Great and Best Friends when chucking eggs. When you raid use Star Pieces. Save Stardust to power up only the 'Mon you plan to use in battles or raids. Stardust is rare and must be used wisely. Pinap any shinies, it's a great way to accumulate candy.

More than any of that, enjoy playing this daft game. It's a great way to get exercise in, it gets you out in the open air and it's FUN.

And yes, evolved a high cp shiny (don't care about iv for slakoth because I'm never spending stardust on it or raiding with it) and the evolutions Rd as dull as shiny golem.

I walked for miles today :)

Hatched some eggs, got a lot of pokemon, included three slakoths that spawned in sainsburys car park when i was avoiding the worst of the weather 😂.

I didnt get any shiney Slakoth 🙁. There were loads in town but i just wanted to get home from work and thought there would be loads there, there wasnt many at all!

Even with Pinap berry and incense i only got to about 60! But at least i evolved it once!

They've acknowledged the issues yesterday and Slakoth will be back.

Hi @funnelfanjo we go great friends on our next interaction. I am happy if you trigger when suits you as I am out of lucky eggs and saving coins for incubators! I will send you a gift when I've been to a poke stop!

I'm in NL and we had issues too, but only for the last hour. I took DS to a local town where we've played before, but this time we parked up and walked in so we could hit a streak of 15 new Pokestops. Then into the main square with lured Pokestops and spawn points galore. It was fab for about an hour and a half and then all the slakoth disappeared. The lures were spawning random stuff, not even Pokémon which matched the weather.

I won't tell you how many shinies or slakoth we got, or that we caught the Pokémon whilst sitting in the bakery eating pizza, as you'll all hate me. I think we'll be back next CD.

I'm driving my WhatsApp group pippy begging to know where the Spin 25 Pokestops research is.
I have two rampardos; they are amazing attackers (for as long as they last).
I'm also walking with a 98% IV cranidos, traded from DS. I let him do the trade whilst I was busy in the kitchen. It was level one?It'll take 860 km to get it to a usable level 30.

Can ask ask you lovely Pokemon players some advice please?
Where it shows my weekly progress it says I have only done 3203 steps but above it says I have walked 50.4km so far? Is this a glitch?
Does adventure sync only show the steps you have done whilst the app was closed? I don't get it

No idea on the steps murree but it's the distance that counts for the rewards

Thought I'd remind you all (because it didn't occur to me until someone in my local group mentioned it) if you've walked more than 50k this week, pop a star piece on just before 9am in the morning to maximise your adventure week rewards.
