It's the friendship event, @Soubriquet, all gift eggs are 2k for 2 weeks but still have the usual 7k Pokemon (Alolans and babies) with the chance of shiny Bonsly.

DS1 seems to have run out of revives with the team go rocket stops. Good thing that DS2 and I can just about carry the Ray raids! Of course, it's DS1 that got the shiny out of this week's efforts.

Yes, I still play HD occasionally but not often.

You'll still only get 50 coins when your mon is eventually kicked out of the gym, unfortunately (unless you've already earned your coins for that day)
You will be earning gym points though, which means extra items from it when you spin it again.

It can be frustrating though, I learned to never put my best Pokemon in rural gyms because I lost some for weeks on end!
