Did you all get the notification this morning? Reckon something's happening tomorrow. One of my group said there was a shadow of Giovanni, haven't come across him in Indigo League or the 'I choose you' movie. Can't wait!

Yep, I think they're taking over all pokestops for an hour this afternoon? The notification today was not clear!

4-5pm global wide.

What I have noticed about Rocket Stops is they seem to reappear at the same stop(s) about an hour after they first pop up.

Somebody from my 'local' group has posted that the Team Rocket takeover is from 4-5pm today.

I caught shadow rattata and purified it yesterday. I did have another battle but that one was way too good for me and obliterated my battle party in seconds!

Great day of Pokemon. I was out doing rocket stops and noticed two guys in a car going ahead of me, so I said hi and asked if they were playing. They were and agreed to do a marowak raid with me. I got it with my first ball - hurrah! Been wanting one for ages. They also live on my road! How random is that?
I don't really get the shadow pokemon and the idea of them being 'stronger'. I got a dratini and a charmander but their IVs are 60% and 40% respectively. Not sure I've got much use for either, even in final evolutions...

When you purify them all the stats go up by 2, and they automatically go to level 25.
Also the amount of stardust needed to power them up is reduced by 10%.
So a Pokémon in the 60s will have a new overall rating in the 80s.
Say you got a Pokémon with stats of 13-13-13 it would become 100% on purification.
But yes, I'd chuck those both out too.

I mean, transfer them to the professor for love, care, and healing.......
