@tumpymummy thought so but am a major novice at this business compared to you lot! Still got quite excited when me and the girl child caught one today though.

Managed to catch two shiny Raikou today--one on my account, one for my sister on hers as she can't raid with my niece.

Decided to trade to make them lucky and have this beast. Will be lucky trading hers tomorrow morning. Its a good birthday present for her that's for sure!

Can anyone explain to me how the photo of the dratinj task works? How do you take a photo and is it only if you're catching one or can you do it with one you already have?

Also, on a separate note, does anyone know why this thread doesn't appear in my list of Threads I'm on? I've posted a few times but it still doesn't appear!

Dratini photo task - chose any Dratini - click on the camera icon in the top right corner - click OK - tap on your screen when you see the yellow spots - click camera icon - done!

How does this Great league trainer battle work?

You just challenge a friend to a battle but use the great league

Is anyone here Ultra or Best friends with me, RosiePerissa, able to battle for the research task?

I have sent a few friend requests, my username is almost the same as on here.

I’m feeling the new research tasks are very bad timing for me. Last week I did a mass evolve including a Dratini, Scyther and Magikarp! I haven’t got another Dratini worth evolving and not enough candy for Scyther or Magikarp, it’ll take forever to earn another 400!

I’ve just bought a Gotcha. Does anyone use one and have any tips?

Advise needed as i’m stuck on:

A mythical Discovery (5/8) catch ditto
Let’s ago Meltan (3/9) catch ditto
A ripple in time Evolve Eevee into Umbreon at night

Which leaves me catching every pidgey, everyday Pokémon hoping it’ll be an elusive ditto. Have caught 2 dittos but prior to the task.

Tonight, i’ve Accidentally evolved Eevee into a Valporeon and earlier a Jolteon. I have 2 Umbreons & Espeons in my Pokedex, caught prior to task, so know i must have managed before. Now down to only a few Eevee candies. Evolved Valporeon & Jolteon by naming Eevee Tamao and different points of the evening/night.

Catching a ditto is completely by chance, I caught one yesterday as a Hoothoot. I think you can stop with the though as according to this, there are 13 possibles and no longer Pidgey or Rattata since they released the shiny versions.

With the Umbreon, you have to walk it for 10km as your buddy and then evolve it at night while it is your buddy.

Was the shiny chance for Raikou a lot higher than usual? I did 4 raids and caught 2.

Shiny rates for Mon you can't catch in the wild are much higher than others.

@blueroses99 I think we live in the same place. Maybe we could trade if it comes up as a challenge? None of my real life friends know I play
