Beety......... suck it up, build a bridge and get over it!

My DD1 (12) goes to school by tube Mon-Fri. If it's good enough for her .... lol

PeachesMcLean · 24/02/2007 22:23

Sorry, I can't add anything to this thread but just had to congratulate Lostinfrance for Best Use of a Comedy Bracket, as in:
Peckham ( )

made me laugh anyway.... I'll be copying it shortly no doubt.

bubblerock · 24/02/2007 22:38

Travelodge have £15 rooms around london over easter if you get stuck.

Aero · 24/02/2007 22:41

Guess Chatham is too far out? Not that you'd want to stay in a building site atm anyway - I can't imagine our extension will ever be finished..............we're 40 mins from London. Or you could drive to Lewisham in around the same time from here...........

MrsJohnCusack · 24/02/2007 22:50

Lewisham?! my old manor. whatever can you be doing there for a week? (nosey)
ah if only my parents hadn't actually sold their Blackheath house you could have had it....not v.helpful. but keeping it bumped anyhow

(and anyway Lewisham is the land the tube forgot)

Beetrootccio · 25/02/2007 10:17

My classical musical educated children are doing \linkwww.fsor.org.uk\ this}

Blackheath would have been PURRRfect - it was where I was born

Wow! Now that looks like fun (if you like rock)

MrsJohnCusack · 25/02/2007 10:26

born in Blackheath - how cool. I do miss my old manor a lot.

now that is weird - was talking about that very school AND v.briefly the thingy your children are going to just today with someone here in ChCh, NZ (he used to teach at the school I think)

maybe Marina will have some ideas.
