Once I found the post in the washing machine! The washing pile was left my the front door to be taken to the garage, where the washing machine was then, and the postman must have delivered whilst it was sat there waiting to be sorted out- my husband has a habit of chucking everything in the machine together with a colour catcher or two ... I know, he's a bloody liability sometimes! ... he put the washing on, and a day or so later when i opened the dryer to sort the clean clothes, I found a Jiffy bag which had delivered a squishy ball thingy (had bought it for my office as a thing to squish when bored) - it was ruined, the Jiffy bag was wet but survived relatively well under the circumstances!
