So basically, in secondary, things have just sort of shifted on a week.

As I understand it, 11/13 online next week, others at home (online?) Apart from vulnerable/key workers. Then 11/13 return from 11th and all others taught online. All back 18th. Waiting now for further details from the head for plans for our school.

Primaries have basically been thrown under the bus

And still nothing on exams!

What happens if a school doesn't get testing organised, for example if the Government doesn't send them enough tests (they talked about a number of 'devices' that was 100x too low)? Does that mean 11 and 13 can't return?

So glad I've not wasted my holiday planning lessons for next week yet.

Yep I don't understand why we're not meant to provide remote learning for all year groups? Can't really afford to lose another week with so much time missed already.

Oh God... don't!

I'm sick of them 'using' vulnerable kids like this to do their faux self righteousness and care. None of them have said a word in a decade of service decimation for send kids, camhs, social services etc.

Nope. This will hit badly. The NE sort of had a similar thing where we couldn't meet another person outside the home but had to go to school obviously. Staff morale was v low and v angry, esp TAs.
