This is "sweet Meghan " era. This is the problem. She has so many personas. We had "hot girl" "entrepreneur girl" "super mom girl" and now "sweet English girl"

Reminded of the much-married John Cleese alimony tour about 15 years ago.

I remember that and thought it a bit odd that H+M would use George’s security / nickname. It became even odder when they used the queen’s nickname for the next one. I expect the next baby would have been Steve, William’s nickname at uni.

Archie and Lili fit with the now passing trend for cutsie old fashioned type names.

They did a trendy middle class fashion instead of a royal or aristocratic style of traditional or grand historical names.

W&C did super classic traditional.
Eugenie did more finding old historic names.
Both very posh.

HaM did the trendy thing normal people were doing. Cute nicknames for names.

The Tindalls did more normal fashionable type names too.

I think wealthy people like that only stay like that if they don’t touch their core wealth. That money will be earning them money but probably not enough for what they want

I agree with the principle, @fridaynightzzz, but still believe Meghan would have found it hard to see all those millions and not want them for herself

You can just hear the word salad about "investing to build our potential", and while we'll never know, Harry could easily have been stupid enough to fall for it - especially if it came with veiled threats about "needing to prove his commitment to her"

Well I heard and yes that’s easy to say, but I heard Archie was Prince George’s code name when they were very young and out and about with their nanny.
If memory serves someone bumped into Archie out and about in Norfolk and onky later twigged who it was. Again don’t know if this is true.

I think it's so that he and his dad can form "Archie & Bald" when he's older. Possibly a comic folk band or a retro crimefighting duo.

Tom Bowers' Revenge states that Archie was Meghan's favourite comic when younger. I think when Archie was born, Harry said something about naming him after a friend in the army.

I suspect M wanted it & what M wants M gets. It’s odd as if truly calculating & aspirational in this vein you’d think she’d go for a classic? Or very old/posh (like Eugenie’s choices) but ‘’fun’ won out.
