Also she’s had the humility to listen and learn. She does brilliantly for someone not brought up as a royal. As most of us know on here, theres a lot more to what she does than some people realise and you only understand how good she is when you see royalling done wrong.

(Bracing myself now for accusations of “expecting a woman to be humble and submissive “. No, that’s not what I mean.)

People argue Catherine went to a posh private school but so did Markle. Markle went to a very expensive Catholic girls school! Catherine is just cut out for royal life, the pressures, the criticism, the ups and downs & the unglamous side.. Markle ain't cut out for any of it!

But the thing I respect most about Catherine is she said during her engagement interview she was willing to learn and she certainly has been. I remember reading, during the engagement, that it had been arranged for her to spend some time at each government department as she wanted to learn what each of them did. She also did a lot of private visits to organisations and charities so she could get a feel for where she could help

This is an intelligent young lady who has been brought up in this country, yet recognised that she had a lot to learn for the role she was taking on

Unlike MM who couldn't wait to marry a Royal, hurried into marriage, turned down offers of help and advice from HMQEll & BP because she thought she knew it all and then said she never got any help

No I get what you mean absolutely. Catherine has understood that her role is to be “royal” and our understanding of that is someone who is regal and yet gracious, and being “humble and submissive” in that sense is not peculiar to the women in the Royal Family. We expect it of the King as well. Catherine might swear like a fish wife and slob around in her comfies in private (unlikely, I know), but she knows that in her day job, if you will, she is expected to behave in a certain way. Not even all of those who were born to her role can carry it out well, as we have witnessed. So Catherine is an accomplished professional at being “royal”

Yes, and that generation had seen and gone through so much, but usually didn't speak of it. When his mother was homeless and penniless her took her to live with them at Buckingham Palace.

I think Kelly has the social media account that Meghan would love to have - parading her children , her life, her husband etc. Yes she had a tragedy with the death of her son and now uses her social media to promote her charity. Meghan met Kelly through her first husband Trevor. She fell out of touch with Kelly though when she moved on to Suits and Toronto. Meghan was back in the USA for two years before she reconnected with Kelly in 2022 after the death of her son . I fear that Kelly had been Markled and can't see it .

Harry needs to be more President Whitmore in Independence Day.

Exactly Markle was all "boots on the ground" "hitting the ground running " & thinking she was going to change the monarchy from the inside!
Catherine knows her role inside out & has never said or done anything controversial.
She lives & breathes the royal mantra "never complain, never explain " Markle couldn't even manage that!

P Anne has spoken of her with admiration. Apparently Princess Alice could lip read in THREE languages - English, German and Greek. And she is a Righteous Among the Nations for sheltering Jews.
