Buckingham Palace have said they won't be commenting further on the book. But I expect plenty of others will be and it's not even published yet so I started this second thread. I really liked Diana and thought she got treated shabbily by Charles. But really writing a book of gripes 30 years later is not on imho. I noticed on the news Harry declined to comment on it. Sensible decision for once.

Earl Spencer has a close tie with Harry. Harry is back in the UK, Spencer has a book on the royals come out. Bet they are in this together.

Diana was never particularly bright and was brought up just to marry into the royal family. She was high maintenance but liked to play up to the media. If she had been hanging around with Egyptian criminals (the Al-Fayed's) and had worn a seat belt she would still be alive together. Some accountability for her poor decision making needs to be acknowledged.

Sorry, just catching up. He drove fast enough to crash. Therefore he would have to have been willing to risk his life. Otherwise he would have slowed down even if the paps were chasing him. Not rocket science

Her death definitely benefitted the Royal Family. Now that ES has said that KC was very happy and upbeat after Diana's death, that King Charles sounded like he had won the lottery after Diana died, people are discussing Diana's death again
