Is anyone going to take one for the team and buy a copy of SwanSong so that we don’t have to? I remember one particularly heroic mnetter who bought the book, actually read it and then précised it for us each day.

Volunteers please take one pace forward.

And hopefully this will be CS’s swan song and we never hear from the blighter again.

Sorry can’t oblige you on this occasion, I have no interest in reading more about Diana or any other Royal at this point, I’m sure anything salacious or controversial will find it’s way to us.
however I have a feeling that there will be a thread on here when the time comes 😁

It’s being serialised in the DM starting at 5pm today .
Maybe I am mistaken but I thought after his 20th anniversary rant CS said Diana should now RIP ?
Anyone else remember?

Yes, however, I'm beginning to wonder what nasty revenge was cooked up over the summer. There seems to be a Spencer-Sussex pincer attack.

My main actual issue with these memoires etc is that they are so badly written.

...I want to put Spare into Chatgpt and tell it to do its worst and call it an art installation on the vapidity of modern life.

They are BOOKS ?

I thought they were floor tiles or something (maybe Harry doing the floor). Or place mats ?

What an odd thing to use books for. Laptops get really hot underneath. Nothing says "I pretend to work here" like using books as a laptop stand rather than... a laptop stand.

Look at the ergonomics of it. How does she reach the touchpad? And looking at the photo, she is sitting too far from the table to be using a mouse.Sure, there might be a mouse at her right hand, but looking at the photo her elbow won't be on the table.

Oh, and why are these laptops never plugged in ? She can't be spending hours working there, because there is nowhere to plug it in.

And the pen and paper. It's at the wrong side if she is right handed. Of course the servant maybe moved the pen to put the tray down, at her left side. So maybe she is left handed ? But that makes the touchpad/ mouse situation worse. Cos the tray is where the mouse should be, and if she reaches up for the touchpad, the sleeve of that jumper will go right into her cup of tea or knock it over.

Sorry, I am an amateur photographer, so I tend to over analyse photos.

It's defo staged. And not staged very well.

I agree it’s not a proper working office but to be fair I think it’s supposed to show her on a Zoom talking to people for the 40x40 thing. Which is why the laptop is propped up, to give a good camera angle.

I wonder if Harry has thought through the implications of ganging up with Spencer to upset Charles and William. It's hardly likely to make them pay for the Sussex aspirational lifestyle.

I know, I suppose they're tempted and it keeps the Diana fire burning, which Harry seems to like.

Of course not. He doesn't look ahead, ever.

I looked - apparently it was Penny Junor who actually said that, in support of Charles S when he was trying to stop Channel 4 releasing a documentary based on the Peter Settelen tapes (Diana: In Her Own Words).

Google tells me it’s for security reasons.

It means the bodyguards are in control of the immediate surroundings before the principal steps out.

They’re positioning themselves between the principal and other people to create a protective barrier.

They can react immediately if someone approaches unexpectedly.

They control the timing of the exit so the principal isn’t exposed whilst the door is being opened.

It prevents the principal from having to reach across or open the door themselves which can briefly distract them when they have to be alert.

There was more but the above is the gist of it all.

Yeah, it’s a couple of minor royals on the school run…. If William and Catherine can do their school run without this palava, you know it’s all for the cameras.

No ! 🤣 , just never have and never will read a book about a royal that isn’t a history one! , I was just assuming that certain people would love to start a thread that might lead to more criticism of Charles! 😁

Is this photo what you were talking about @Usernameinabeyance? It’s genuine as far as I know complete with Harry juggling his balls 😅It was seen in various publications x

He has to pay for his fourth divorce somehow.

I wonder how it’s been for the other children at the two schools. A and L won’t be the only newbies. Some of the others will have been quite anxious in their first week. I’m sure the sight of a convoy of blacked out vehicles disgorging large menacing men will have been a great help.

It's a few things 1) the diffuse lighting with no specific source, it's very AI-like, no? 2) It looks very perfect, even for a rich minimal Cali mansion, iyswim and 3) the stack of all the books perfectly stacked and identical - I've been known to pile things to reduce the multiple chins-on-Teams situation but her stack of stuff was very perfect and uniform

.... obviously happy to be corrected, I just scrolled quickly by and assumed AI

Well, it was released by Meghan. So who knows.

I never knew that. Thanks. I need to revise.

Makes it worse. The laptop screen is angled up. So approximating the field of view of the camera, only her eyes are showing ? (att). Whoever she is talking to has mostly ceiling to look at.

In any case. This is an online entrepreneur at work. I would expect her to have her workspace set up for doing zoom call conferences ? Likely in a faraday cage room with a wired cam to outside... for security of course. I would imagine they have a no camera rule :-)

I am sat at a normal desk just now. Laptop on desk. mouse at right hand, the webcam is fine. Mug is at right hand, behind the mouse. Elbows on the desk. Keyboard at hand level.

This setup is just ergonomically wrong. IMO. The chair is too low for the table. Or the table too high for the chair.

Here is the photo I am looking at. In the mirror. Not the AI ones where the spare chair legs are not matching the chair backs.

Meghan Markle’s birthday 'gimmick' quietly shelved after major mistake - The Mirror

Also from the mirror article photos, something with the necklace. Tagged that onto my screenshot. They look different. Yes resolution, but looks like a software smoothing tool has been used there. In the article photos, same chair and clothes. But the first photo has been heavily manipulated. It's not a depth of field thing going on there.

The photo I originally shared yesterday was original until I photoshopped Harry into it because at the time I couldn’t find one with him in juggling his balls. Any original photos were stills I believe taken from a clip of one of their many videos/programmes but I can’t remember which one as I haven’t watched any; I’ve only seen clips/photos cited in social media etc.

😅 yes and I enjoyed that cameo in the one you edited PH into.

...maybe they could just photoshop the kids into a rural English primary school? No convoy needed.

It looks like a dining table - the chairs are dining chairs not desk chairs.

I doubt KC would trust him with any secret. I don’t think it odd that a father would want to size up his estranged child before swapping to pleasantries in front of wife and children.

I think KCIII was sending a message that H as his son has special status, and he wanted to ask H how he was without H editing his response in front of M. Behind the scenes, the family must be worried about him, and we know Camilla thinks H has been captured by M.

TBH, I am losing track of what are the official photos are what are the AI/ photoshoped. So pinch of salt with anything I post :-)

But I tell you what I see in the official photos from the mirror. The stonework around that fireplace behind her is not that great,

How do we know this about Camilla?
