🤣 @LaMarschallin

PrivateCitizenTooDimforDiplomacy · 16/09/2026 21:15

Oh excellent photoshopping or AI-ing @TheRealHousewife

Meant to say @jeffgoldblum excellent thread title and accompanying illustration!

I realised I meant to try to think of a witty new name or just change my name back but forgot.

Well, what with being a Prince of England, and a full time Dad, he's probably too busy.

Ah, but he IS juggling! modern parenting life, always a juggle. He must be so busy being a hands-on parent and a nonworking unroyal.

Yes he's very busy. I do hope they both make time to relax.

🍌 message of gratitude calligraphied on a banana for Jeff, in thanks, as ever

Evening, Your Jeffness. How nice to remember Meghan's 40th and the project she launched from that very desk!
Where's Harry, though?.

Proper lols and snorted into my gin at your username 😂

RecoIIectionsMayVary · 16/09/2026 21:21

Thread is funny already - thanks for the new thread @jeffgoldblum

I've reverted back to my normal username - seeing ReconciliationsMayVary quote me as RemainInAbeyance was a head fuck too much 😂

GroundCloves · 16/09/2026 21:21

Hello again

Stating you don’t like links to blinds because the link may be untrustworthy seems rather ironic.

Indeed. Nothing says relax quite like an exclusive girls retreat....might be time for MM to send out some invites 💌

Thank you! I love your user name, too! Mine came about because there was a thread where a poster insisted everything Harry did was William's fault.
All the bad stuff was William in a ginger wig ☺️

@RecoIIectionsMayVary seems very apt for this latest KC3 clap back

Riled? It was the most calm, kind and empathetic of statements. I've never read anything which would indicate "riled" less.

Damn it! I typed out a post and the thread closed 😆. Anyway it was along the lines of I couldn’t imagine (king) Charles “hissing” down the phone like a pantomime villain and that I suspect William has had a hand in this like he did with the “HaM are not royal” letter

Oh...are you trying to blame William?

Yes. But in a good way 😆😆

eta sorry just realised I wasn’t clear. I think William had a hand in his father’s reply to Charles Spencer’s book

😂😂 could be.
They seem to be working together at the moment, for obvious reasons.

What happened with the Spanish version of Spare?
I’ve forgotten. Or it might have totally passed me by at the time.

Picking up on a question from the last thread - I just wanted to remind people of the debacle that was the publication of Spare. It was heavily embargoed until the official publication date, with serialisation rights granted to the Guardian. However a hapless bookshop employee in Spain put a few copies from the stockroom on display a few days before the official embargo elapsed, and a passing journalist snapped up a copy, leading the Sun and Mail to swiftly hire teams of translators to read it and pick out the most exciting bits. Thus spoiling the Guardian’s exclusives, and to great hilarity, particularly when it came to translating/mistranslating Harry’s account of the loss of his virginity, and the frostbitten nether regions sections.

(Also, I counted 19 copies of “The Bench” in that photo of Meghan. She has quite the pile of remainders!)

It really makes me laugh - do you think other copies are used to prop doors open, or put under wobbly table legs?

Serenster · 16/09/2026 21:43

They can multitask!

The chosen extracts were hilarious, so, so entertaining 😂.

Nothing screams talented executive conquering the world like propping your laptop up on a pile of remaindered books. Separate screens are just soooo try-hard.

Agreed it was entirely calm.

But they rarely respond to anything. Never complain, never explain.
