I’m not quite sure what the correct etiquette is, but I’m Cotswold adjacent and do have a strong instinct which school they may now be attending, is it ok to state the name or is it best just to hint?

Prince Harry and King Charles both have events tomorrow:

The week after Diana died must have been impossible for the RF in so many ways. Focusing on the grieving children, amongst the media, the Spencers, Tony Blair and the public expectations. With their own mixed feelings about Diana. It wouldn't surprise me at all if heated words were exchanged on both sides. Having said that I don't believe Charles (R) said something so heartless.

I do think there is something odd about the sudden change of schools beyond the ‘motorcade’ getting separated in traffic. I can’t help wondering whether they originally tried to get places at the new school (more obviously appropriate given their new location) and were told no places currently available, and then two became available just after the start of term.

It just seems so very unlikely that a change could be made so quickly unless they were already discussions with the other school. Or it was either their usual chaos or deliberate misdirection. I just can’t believe that their security team or the school itself would not have made them aware of the difficulties travelling into North Oxford during term time.

I’m going to say something that might upset the Diana fans! ….these revelations from Spencer’s book are irrelevant, the monarchy will roll on , kings have behaved towards their queens, mistresses and mothers of their children like this for hundreds of years …it’s irrelevant to whether the monarch is a good ruler 🤷‍♀️ most people have clarity and don’t care .

Part of me hopes that M goes along to the Invictus thing tomorrow and behaves so badly that the board ask H to step down. And unlike with most such imaginings, I reckon there's a sporting chance of it happening.

For all Charles' failings, he and Diana had improved their relationship over the year or so before her death, and he was clearly devastated when she died.

He was the one who argued with the Queen that she should be treated as royalty, and went with her sisters to Paris to bring her back on a royal flight with a royal standard.
The pictures of him in Paris showed someone who was obviously extremely upset.

Given all that, I find it hard to believe he would have said such a thing.
I can totally believe they had a row on the phone.
I could believe he said something that Charles S mistook as those words, perhaps.

Do you really think that a narc would abide by an NDA?

My ex- narc would make promises to get me to agree to stuff that he would then COMPLETELY FORGET the minute I'd agreed. Promises mean nothing to a narc.

HAM would sign an NDA but still feel perfectly entitled to continue briefing the friendly press with unattributable ( to them) leaks.

You are welcome blue!! , well I’ve looked at the book thread, it’s as expected! , honestly ive reached the point where I don’t care, even If Charles said it ( which I don’t believe) who cares? Diana has been dead for 30 years , she was far from being innocent and the constant infantilising and revision of how most of us lived is just too irritating, I lived with my first abusive asshole at 18! , I knew what I was doing and worked and supported us both … and he did far worse than just cheating on me! , I was not a naive child then and would have told these people as much .
as far as I can tell certain people are looking for a reason to attack Charles …any reason at all …I imagine him turning up to an official engagement with his flies undone would have a similar reaction.

As I’ve finally broken the ice by posting thought I would mention my other theory!
At the meeting in Highgrove during the summer, I understand that H met with Charles on his own without M and the kids before they joined him. Have there been any theories put forward about why? It seems to me that C had something he needed to tell H without M being present, was this the catalyst that made them leave the US. I think some wondered whether it was about C’s health, however I think it might have been some sort of secret intelligence that meant H needed to leave the states quickly and why C was so keen that what was discussed was kept secret.

I don’t think we can truly know unique, rumours from the likes of Neil Sean seem to indicate that Charles wanted to talk to Harry about certain things alone , apparently these things are nothing to do with why they came back , however anyone’s guess is as good as the next. 🤷‍♀️

Someone on X has raised the interesting point that the school yr 3 WhatsApp messages screenshot layout looks different to the U.K. layout. I checked my group messages and it doesn’t look like the Meghan layout. Does anyone else have a similar layout to how it had appeared as a screenshot and later leaked to the Sun?

I doubt KC would trust him with any secret. I don’t think it odd that a father would want to size up his estranged child before swapping to pleasantries in front of wife and children.

I still think the only way to stop this nonsense is for KC to abdicate/retire to Highgrove with or without Camilla.

All his knowledge and experience - more than fifty years worth - should be lost because of these two?

Someone - I think it might have been Robert Hardman - said one of the most useful and valuable things Charles does is bringing together people who are leaders in their fields to talk about global issues. We've seen him do it with environmental issues, now tomorrow it's AI. It's only just this week the story about the dangers of AI has become big news, so he's taking the lead here. That's far more important than H&M's tantrums.

I have puzzled over this too and wondered if The Sun did amock-up for some legal reason about not using an original. When newspapers feature WhatsApp chats, they never look like mine do.

Yes, people think of Charles as a vague person interested in plants and the environment. He thinks deeply about a lot of things.
