I hope no one buys that book - the two things that stick with me about that awful man are - 1 his wedding speech joke about his anorexic wife being thick and thin. 2 Patricia Guppy telling how he tried it on with her when her husband/his friend was in prison. He’s as arrogant and hypocritical as his nephew.

I shouldn't think so. Smear campaigns happen all the time. Most are a bit more subtle than this one.

I think the most Charles can do at this point is remove them from the website, which should have been done years ago. The precedent for removing titles is for far more serious offences.

AcrossthePond55. Many village schools are Church of England schools for historic reasons, but they are part of the state system, not private schools.

The Sussex children will be going to a small private (fee paying) school which happens to be in a village - or a private school which happens to be in a small village - but which won't be 'the village school'.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if many prep schools find they have no space in whichever years the Sussexes want.

Some of the current threads' posters are clearly Sussex PR, along with a bunch of people who are getting all their facts wrong. The latter I can just about shrug about, but it's still annoying because it means it's harder to have a decent discussion about making the workings of the monarchy more democratically transparent. But the former - the Sussex PR machine in action - pisses me right off.

KC needs to stop giving Harry money. Harry seems obsessed with lawsuits. If he continues to lose them, he will be in a major financial bind, not to mention his reputation will be worse than it is now. Sentebale will probably win, and it sounds as though he has really pissed people off going after the judge. He isn't hiring Sherborne again, is he?

If I were KC, I would pay school tuition directly to the school for the Hamlets and no more.

Well, I'd imagine he found out pretty smartish, as part of Verdi's Requiem was in the service itself.

Now the judiciary, civil service and associated agencies, and the press have been rubbished by Harry. Morally, those misdemeanours are not comparable to sex trafficking and, possibly, having sex with minors. Nonetheless, the monarchy has to consider how far Harry, a prince, a Duke and an HRH now resident in Britain, has to go before its own continuation is imperilled. Harry is unpredictable, not bright and vengeful. I think more is needed than removing the Sussexes from the website, especially now the monarchy is also being attacked by Uncle Charles.

Looking back now, I suspect the prince’s first reaction must have been to think more of how this event might free him to marry the woman he loved, rather than appreciating the loss of one he did not.

IMHO, the racism claims are already baked into the polling results and have been since Endgame. If HaM lean into the racism claims that nixes any chance of reconciliation...that is why H claimed that it was the British media that was responsible for the racism claims and walked it back to "unconscious bias."

The how is quite simple. Why did KC3 meet with H after H had insulted his judiciary? Imagine if KC3 had said no. Imagine if BP had briefed that the Duke was out of order insulting the judiciary and he has to apologise in writing and on camera before meeting the King.

I really do not understand the fear of the media. The media is in for the money and George's generation are aging in. With the Philips kids leading the charge you could argue that they have already taken over the teen/pre-teen market.

Prince Charles was insisting that he wanted to do so. It is hard to see why, given his feelings for Diana. Also, an ex is never expected to act as chief mourner at their former spouse’s funeral. But he was adamant.
He praised Diana as having the most amazing people's skills but clearly CS doesn't have people's skills. Perhaps KC wanted to walk behind Diana's coffin to pay his respect and support his sons. CS sounds as dim and HaM. Awful to put these recollections out there for Kc's poor innocent grandchildren to have to deal with. Selfish man. And boring. It's boring, vengeful, unsubstantiated diatribe. Hope he'll fall out with lots of people over it. Wonder if his lates wife is best pleased to be drawing this sort of attention. Silly man.
