I still think the only way to stop this nonsense is for KC to abdicate/retire to Highgrove with or without Camilla. Then the new king William could take all of H&M’s titles and exile them somewhere where they enjoy some privacy, this might mean to pay them off with a significant amount of cash and issue a couple of NDAs. Both Prince Archie and Princess Lily can have their titles removed since it offers them freedom like Zara has. Then Catherine becomes the queen that the general public wanted in Diana.

I actually love this but KC will never abdicate.

“The researcher behind the Duke of Sussex’s phone hacking claim is preparing a campaign to discredit the High Court judge who threw out the case, The Telegraph can reveal…”

Careful, Harry. The Intelligence Services probably have more on you than your researcher can possibly have on the judge.

And since the judiciary operate in the King's name, this is also an attack on the King, his father.

Is there no end to his stupidity? And isn't there anyone on his staff who will say 'no, I won't do that'? Don't these people have professional reputations to maintain?

Apparently not, what he claims and how he behaves, just seem to get worse and worse.

Williaminagingerwig · Yesterday 15:16

You're so right, @11add1. My DC are adults, early 30s. I've asked them about Diana, they're not interested. She's barely relevant.

Puzzledandpissedoff · Yesterday 15:23

Harry can't be wrong, it must be the Judge

Harry's already said as much in his post-trial statement, @MrsLeonFarrell, but if the Telegraph report's true, attempts to smear Justice Nicklin would be something else again

Unfortunately I can easily believe he'd be that stupid, and there's absolutely nothing anyone could do to stop him. Taking the titles, sticking him in another farmhouse at Sandringham, whatever ... none of it can stop him flapping his mouth and it's hard not to wonder how this will end

I can believe he's that stupid. He's so arrogant, self obsessed, petulant and entitled. Plus god knows what the impact of all the drug abuse was.

Meanwhile, Sophie is in Zambia, and highlighting excellent causes such as violence against women and girls, and eye sight charities.
Anything on the BBC news?
It's shocking that she gets such little coverage. The BBC main news devotes 10 mins to Harry. 😡

I agree. At this point he is unstoppable. He's clearly always had a tendency to self absorption and paranoia, but he has really spiralled. I imagine Meghan has partially fuelled it, at least in the early stages of their relationship, as a way to manipulate him and to convince him to move to the US. I also suspect that his drug consumption over the years hasn't helped- weed tends to be seen as a benign drug, but it can be a disaster in people who already have a tendency towards paranoia. Add isolation, resentment, boredom and an extreme sense of entitlement, and you end up with...Harry. God knows how the RF can manage him, he seems to have become a force for sheer destruction of himself and everyone around him.

This is the frustrating thing isn't it. Harry can basically do and say what he likes, short of libel. At this point I'm not sure he will have the wits to stay away from libel though

I agree it’s not a proper working office but to be fair I think it’s supposed to show her on a Zoom talking to people for the 40x40 thing. Which is why the laptop is propped up, to give a good camera angle.

It's all part of the narrative load of her performance persona.

The 'audience gaze' is supposed to find her cute, adorable and relateable, yet doyennishly majestic, simultanously realising that her renaissance skills are unmatchable and her lifestyle unattainable. Thus, this godlike entity emits grace through the act of allowing us see inside the living moments that will one day form the basis of the Gospels of Meghan Magladene.

Her husband's mental as well.

I think less of the BBC for treating Harry creating yet another award on a par with Charles making an important speech in AI and choosing to ignore all the stirling work Sophie is doing. Harry had an inflated sense of his own importance partly because the news media use him for clicks.

Absolutely. It's the BBC, though and you'd think they'd have better standards. Obviously their editorial policy.

Oh, btw in real life that kind of work persona generally makes the absolute worst bully colleague / boss.

I don’t think we can truly know unique, rumours from the likes of Neil Sean seem to indicate that Charles wanted to talk to Harry about certain things alone , apparently these things are nothing to do with why they came back , however anyone’s guess is as good as the next. 🤷‍♀️

I can understand KC wanting to discuss some things in private with H. But part of me wonders what the point of doing so would be and why he bothered. I'm sure H told M everything that was discussed and that she would have pooh-poohed anything KC had said or requested that might have been contrary to what she wanted. So why bother with excluding her.

Maybe the point of privacy was just to avoid the aggro of her opening her mouth during the discussion so he could say what he wanted to say in peace. Or maybe it was a pointed "I don't have to deal with you, know your place".

I remain puzzled why people think H cannot be managed and why a whole King is helpless!

H needs access to his father for relevance.* *Plain and simple. That is why after shrieking about his lack of safety and an establishment stitch-up in the UK, H fled HaM's numerous flops and stalled projects in California, complete with his family, to return to the very UK that H had just maligned.

There is a reason why H dropped the just Harry and is clinging to his titles like a limpet to a rock, announcing himself as "Prince of England"! There is a reason why Sussex PR went on an all-out reconciliation blitz to get a picture of their kids with their royal relatives.

KC3 can deny access. KC3 can remove titles.

IMHO, KC3 needs to severely sanction a disloyal Royal Duke...and stop using the Crown to indulge his petulant second son.

...and I expect he finds her communication skills exhausting, all that word salad and insincere grimaces. KC is more of a straight-talking dude and will want to clarify what will happen next if HAM don't cut out the crap - he will probably make a list with a (well-behaved) fountain pen and give it to H along with both barrels.

Forgive me if I’m being naive but surely spearheading a smear campaign against a judge of HM courts because you don’t like a verdict has to be illegal? , isn’t it?

I feel for the locals in the area where they are now living and roaring off in a convoy every day for the school run. I'd hate to meet them whilst innocently going on my peaceful bike ride through the lanes and local horse riders had best take note of school times and adjust their schedule accordingly. The main danger is hyped up drivers racing through the lanes and pushing through traffic calming to make sure they keep up with each other. Perhaps someone will notify local police and complain of 4x4 drivers having a race.

I come from a rural area, but it does have one factory on the road in and out of the valley.

The factory wrote a poncy email advising "some new residents" of the times their lorries were frequenting the roads, so they could "plan their journeys for different times". (The times being between 7-9am and 4-6pm!)

The very established farmer resident next to the factory did a Reply All stating that she would drive her tractors, herds and any other vehicles on the public road at any time that suited her, and trusted that the lorries would be capable of waiting if needed.

I expect the Cotswolds is also suitably furnished with plain-speaking residents!

I agree, @My2cents1975 - especially with the second sentence - but the issue is how

Certainly Harry needs the royal adjacency, but even ensuring he can never have it isn't going to work if he then carries on about them excluding him and his wife (cue more racism allegations)

They can't even try to insist the media don't cover H&M, because then the attempt would become the story, so at least for now they all seem a bit stuck with the monster they've enabled

AcrossthePond55 · Yesterday 16:16

So, I plead ignorance about UK private schools.

If they are attending a 'small village private school' I'm picturing a school 'attached' to a church similar to what we commonly have here. Many churches run their own schools independent of local 'authority' or other church schools of the same denomination. It's uncommon to have a private school that's a 'standalone' facility here (ie no church), although some do exist. Most of them are businesses with more than one school, almost like 'franchises'.

Is it at all possible that after the shit show that was their arrival at the first (more prestigious?) school that other similar schools in the area have suddenly become full? I can't see another reason why they'd be sending A & L to an SVPS (small village private school). I'm sure there are other 'prestigious' schools in the area.

If SVPS was full would a large 'cash donation' be allowed to 'free up' places or would there be a mandated 'cap' on pupils?

I just don't get it. Unless they've chosen SVPS because it means that they will expect to be treated as Very Important Parents.

It's a Constitutional Monarchy
They have no control over the press, the judiciary or Parliament.
To add: Harry is 42
At what point does he become responsible for his behaviour?

I don't know, jeff, but believe it was "serenster* who explained that judges tend to roll with the inevitable insults and just see them as part of the job

Possibly a targeted smear campaign might be different if true, but again who's going to stop Harry when he's simply not amenable to reason?
