Breaking news in the Daily Mail. Duke and Duchess of Sussex's children 'removed from school after two days' mol.im/a/16130877 via https://dailym.ai/android

I do wonder if there is actually any school that will be able to meet their expectations in regard to security. I'm interested to see how it all plays out.

I was at the same event as Prince Harry years ago. He had subtle security and was knocking around just like anyone else. It’s different when you have a wife and kids to think about though and when there has been so much vitriol.

I agree.

Ditto commentators saying “oh he could have lived a nice life as a farmer in the countryside” or “he could lived in a tent in game reserve in Botswana”.

Well yes, H probably could have done, but we all have to adapt sometimes and consider what our spouses want.

Plus everyone needs to educate their children.

Why are you so invested in finding fault with them then? What’s your motivation?

Well, I’ve posted enough - read my posts. It’s all there!

Gotta have that ol’ vitriol!

Especially when you’re filling in your HAM Bingo Card.

I'm glad it's not a drinking game! I think now that we've had the usual "they can't win!" it must be nearly full 🤣🤣🤣

No, I was sitting in the street, eating a sandwich…if that matters…

Are you ok? I’m not sure why my genuine experience has brought about such a seemingly angry response.

I don’t know what this means.

Epic troll / self-contradiction - I will allow you to choose the mode of self-glory

I'm literally laughing at the fact you claim a fact then contradict yourself in the same sentence

how is my post angry?

are you ok? 😁

MeetMeOnTheCorner · Today 17:18

@Treetopviews698 Your either/or are separate issues. Anyone normal would have had the route checked and then made a decision based on what they found. This could be no risk but might be some risk. Then they make a decision. As presumably sane people, it seems they either didn’t evaluate anything or thought the journey was ok. It almost certainly is ok but H&M want the attention and use dc as pawns to get it.

I am glad to say I have never started a sentence with 'breaking wind news in the Daily Mail"

However, as a non-royalist, the mouth-foaming over these two baffles me 😁

Guess we all need something to get angry about until the next Big Brother, Love Island or pronouncement of drivel spewed by Remain

What an original well thought out argument!
will it change posters opinions?

There are kids at the Dragon School (and there were at Thomas') who face MUCH higher security risks than "a bit of vitriol"

They are pure attention seekers

Vitriol isn’t the risk. Obviously. Vitriol turned to aggression or violence is the risk. And of course kidnapping. That’s really not the point though.

AlexandraCarrington · Today 17:19

Either there is no risk at all to the dc or
M and H should have done their prep better!

There may or may not be any risk to the children, but H&M appear to believe there is, therefore they should have been better prepared - which wouldn't have been hard. I don't live in Oxford, but I've heard of the traffic issues.

They could have checked it out when they were in the UK in July, if they knew then that they were planning to move.

It’s not that hard to understand. Woman of colour marries into the Royal family, there is a family estrangement and the Daily Fail and the twatalites that read it focus in on the woman and work hard to find fault with her. Spending lots of time and energy on it. It’s really bizarre. So envy (beauty, wealth etc) or racism are the hypotheses that came to mind.

What are the motivations I’m missing? Why else might someone start a nasty thread about a mum with school run issues, without the full facts and then lots of people pile on with theories about it being some kind of manipulation. Really odd. I just don’t get it.

Perhaps read the posts, it's all explained there.
Perhaps if you're a royalist you don't understand that some of us challenge the entitlement, arrogance and greed of a man who wants the status and wealth of royalty, but the taxpayer to pay it for him.

When will the RAVEC decision be made?

I read we won't hear about the decision. Which makes sense. What a nightmare for security. Yoo hoo y'all would be kidnappers and nasty folk, we're over heeeeere.

I feel quite nostalgic.
It's a real old school post.
Ages since "racism" was randomly tossed around (I used to think there was a target for the number of times it was used).
And how long since we heard "bashing"?
Aww...

We have had a new variant of “ frothing “! …..I give you ….” Mouth foaming “ …sounds terribly like rabies though 🤔

So RAVEC will monitor the risk, and provide security accordingly.

How does 'vitriol turn to aggression'? Is it a chemical reaction? Or does it happen when you mix vitirol with a soupcon of frothing and leave it to ferment wrapped in pages torn from a Briddish tabloid?

In all seriousness, the Sussex family is extremely fortunate in that RAVEC have their security needs under continual review. If there is a genuine threat, security will be provided. So there really is no problem.

So you threw out that very serious and insulting accusation based on no evidence? Nice.

Have you been living under a stone since 2018? Surely you must be aware of the history?? If not, Prof Google is your friend.

That's why people don't like HAM.

None so blind as those who will not see.

So what IS the motivation to put so much time and effort into hating someone so publicly that you’ll never meet and makes no difference to your life. Why does this matter so much to you?

Yes, I do wonder why people don't understand that.

the AnswerisNo !

Here's the thing

It's my opinion and on a thread like this, the take-up on my opinion will be low, I've not started out to change poster's opinions, I've started out on the premise of stating my own, based on experience

and it still doesn't alter the fact I am free to observe stupid doing as stupid does

and as for a well-thought out argument to contribute to a thread of Daily Fail mouth breathers foamers, the effort-reward ratio is in the minus values! 😀

MurphysColeslaw · Today 17:24

Williaminagingerwig · Today 17:23

Harry makes sure we know about everything.

Exactly.
Some official decision might actually bring this farce to an end perhaps?
