If Sir Clive is sharp, he could have persuaded Invictus to get shot of Harry, with KCIII's agreement, as a quid pro quo facilitating the readmittance of Urganda to the games.

If Ingriftus didn't get shot of H after the July fiasco, they never will

His airwork or his artwork? Because he had help with his A Level Art as well.

Airwork (aka flying)

If they separate and the RF need to manage Harry hopefully they will send him to Africa to do conservation work. He might well settle down and be happy with himself. That's where he wanted to go before he married.

"Africa" isn't a dumping ground for out of favour minor British royals!

And what qualifications does Harry have to do 'conservation work' anyway?

Why should the RF send him there? Can't Harry manage on his own?

Quite!
Also: none.

Given the activities of African Parks, I don’t think that’s a good idea.

I mean, if they should be the puppets of the billionaires who don't want us to have a monarchy, and they successfully bring down the institution, then their titles will be gone anyway! They are bloody stupid whichever way you cut it.

Seems like they are being used by the powerful wealthy and consistently building the divide between them and the Royal family. They will be of no use to either of them pretty soon and will be cast adrift again.

The RF successfully managed Edward VIII and the Nazi connections. I would argue that was far trickier in the climate then. I think they can manage some off HAM.

I think Harry has been promised that if a republic is ushered in, they’ll all back his bid to become president (“you’ll be a ‘continuity candidate’, Sir, and your wife has learned all the words to Evita already. You’ll be a shoo in, and the royal family will all have to do what you say’. You’ll replace your titles, but they all get none!”)

And he’s thick enough to fall for it.

All that’s really happening is the playing out of a destabilisation tactic straight out the axis of anti-democratic geopolitics.

Let him. Let Harry do his worst. He has zero credibility. Let him moan all he likes, why break the habit of the last 6 years.

Because he'd be a liability. He's gullible and can be bought. Perfect target for hostile state intelligence. AMW had zero credibility, but it didn't stop overseas figures fawning over him and flattering him for contacts and information.

He can't be bought. I strongly believe he's bankrolled by Pa and he still can't keep quiet. Only hope is when William is King, a bolt hole somewhere on the provision he keeps his mouth shut or he's out on his own (hopefully he won't have to fund Hamlets too)

Here's a thought. Could it be that M has agreed to move to the UK as part of her separation/divorce story: 'H was so unhappy in the USA. It was my desire to bring up our children in California and for their grandmother to be part of their lives. Family is everything. But when you have a love story like ours, you do everything to bring joy to your husband's every day. So I said "My love, those vomit green and unpleasant lands will nourish and fortify your spliff-'smashed soul. Let us go, my love".' But the reverse happened. He became even more crazed and paranoid, posting photos of our children online, revealing our whereabouts, pushing back on briefings from Buckingham Palace, refusing to believe he was nolonger Royal, refusing to believe he was a private citizen, ranting about being a public figure. It's so sad and my heart is broken. But I have to do what's right for our children as the balanced, sane parent.'

That's very funny, but also likely true.

July fiasco?

Wasn't that supposed to be the big "one year to Ingriftus" gig but it was eclipsed by ANL loss, insulting the judiciary, etc

Ah, the event where he was interviewed by Alison Hammond. Yes, a fine illustration of 'prince as liability'.

But he has children now. About the only positive thing I can say about H is that he won't abandon his children . . .

I think H is probably a great dad. Meghan could conceivably allow him to have the children. She looks uncomfortable around the children and the time for merching them has probably gone. My suspicion is that they are not spectacularly good looking and that's why she 's keeping their faces hidden. Her unpopularity in the US and the indifference to the monarchy suggest their value is not what does may have thought it would be.

Just as the Nazis planned to use the Duke of Windsor. The parallels are worrying - both the D of Windsor and Harry were/are not particularly bright or well-informed.

That's one reason why I'm sure H would never be allowed to have any official role again. Some pps on here (present company excepted!) treat recent events as a family spat and think, sentimentally, that all it needs is for them all to kiss and make up and we can turn the clock back to 2017, or at least 2020. But H is a security risk to his country now and surely won't ever be trusted to be present when secret/sensitive things are being discussed.

I have no idea if he's "a great dad".
He might be entertaining, but that's a different thing. Who knows, though.

I don't know either but he interacts well with children on camera.

I expect Sir Clive said something to the effect that the King didn't need Uganda boycotting things on his behalf, maybe even that the Sussexes are really too insignificant for the monarchy to worry about. In diplomatic language of course.

Smooths everything over. Charles looks like the bigger person and diplomat. The Sussexes are outmanouvered if they want to use the whole thing to attack the King.

I agree about the good dad point. Yes, he's a waste of space in many ways, but he does seem to be good with children and I'm sure, for many reasons, loves his own and would want the best for them.

I think I've seen their faces and they do look very sweet children but I think you're right - the years will pass very quickly and soon they'll lose the 'cute', easily merchable factor somewhat.

My2cents1975 · Yesterday 15:24

KC3 has intervened openly in Uganda. There were rumours that calls from BP smoothed over the African Parks situation in Chad as well as the Australia Invictus withdrawal.

KC3 is Exhibit A on why H seemingly fails to learn. H's lived experience is that enough tantruming gets him what he wants and King Pa will rush in to save H from the consequences of his actions.

IMHO, in one move KC3 failed his staff, the veterans who participate in Invictus, and Uganda. Very badly done. And I will say it again, one day H will cause a diplomatic nightmare too big for KC3 the enabler to sweep under the rug. And on that day, I will have zero sympathy for KC3 the enabler.

Bullet point no3?
Not a chance.
After everything he's said and done, they're not going to trust that man one iota.

I think KC would.

It doesn't seem that Wills will thaw. Shame really. I know Harry has been the crappiest brother. But they were so close. They are the only two people who know what its like to be the offspring off Charles and Di and everything that entailed.

King Charlie boy I reckon would have a contrite PH back on his knee with Hamlets.
