Sorry to disagree with you but I'm not convinced of this . . . (that he's starting to regret his actions, I mean)

As with anything to do with the Fussexes, time will tell and I've a strong feeling we're going to see something happen sooner rather than later

No I don’t think he can see the damage himself, just wondering if drugs had anything to do with some of his decisions..

ImpotentPublicFigure · 11/09/2026 08:55

When he said he stopped drugs, I wonder if he considered cannabis a drug as it is legal in California.

Chewing his nails (he did it a lot in the Netflix doc) and huffily (he's very huffy) checking his messages constantly in the hope Willy might ever reply.

Why is he announcing his diary to anyone? Katie price, etc doesn't announce her outings to anyone

My feeling is that that's a whole lot more has gone on than even we are aware of . . . .

Internationally recognised self absorbed, over entitled clowns more like! Bloody idiots!

Lots of people were/are 'internationally recognised', eg Hitler, Stalin were, it doesn't mean it's a good thing!

HAM have no idea how unpopular they are. They assume KC is hugely unpopular but he isn't. I'm in Dublin and even die hard anti monarchists are very fond of KC and PW. KC played an absolute blinder in the US and that gained him many fans

Didn’t he say that he was on drugs until 2020 something? Maybe his decision going on Oprah and writing all that crap in his book was under influence, and now that he can see more clearly he is starting to regret some of his actions?

Last night I rewatched the bit in their doc when they were filmed watching the Oprah interview. It was so obvious when the credits rolled he was thinking "WTF have we done". Then she snogged him and all rational thoughts clearly went out of the window. Her influence over him is as powerful as any drug.

I'm afraid I can't take the credit for that one ~ it's my DH's normal name for them

However, when roused, he has an alternative name. I've never had a post deleted from MN and don't intend to start now, so I'm afraid I can't share

Needless to say, the alternative name has been used quite a bit recently . . .

That's awful.

His diary was full and rhe Lion King networking event was far more important to them, in a way I feel, sorry for him, I wonder what life he would have had if he'd married someone else.

Yes, totally agree with this

I can remember, many years ago, am older member of my family said something to the effect of "That boy has issues. He needs a very firm hand to steer him in the right direction"

If the 'firm hand' had been a different wife, the story could have been so, so different

billysboy · 11/09/2026 09:12

she will be gone soon as H gets his inheritance

I think part of his problem was that the girlfriends he had had for a long time didn't want to marry him and become part of the RF merry-go-round or maybe that was just better than saying they knew him well enough not to want to be his wife!

Handbagsandoldcurtains · 11/09/2026 09:14

Desperately behind as ever and have just choked on my tea reading that People article. Meghan dear, children don’t find anything at the bottom of their book bags ever. Any sweet little notes will still be there in December. Crumpled, dirty and neglected.

Whatever our daft, deluded Duchess has been doing in cali, it’s clearly not the school run.

Thanks for the new thread your Jeffness.

He obviously doesn't get that he's no longer a public figure. I blame the paper for publishing it tbh - I feel like offering my little list up and see what happens 🤣

Me too! TBH, I didn't think mine was that interesting until I read his . . .

Thanks for the new thread. Afraid I've got a horrid cold and head is too thick to think of a new name.

Harry seems to be working to extend the remit of Invictus and park himself in Catherine's early years programmes. I'm appalled by this for a number of reasons. One thing seems clear, there has been a lot of planning going on behind the scenes, which suggests the move back here has been planned for some time.

"His appearances will include the first-ever Invictus Spirit Awards, which will celebrate individuals, organizations, and communities who “embody the resilience, service, and unconquered spirit at the heart of the international Invictus Movement”. At the launch of the INSPIRE programme, Harry will play pickleball with school pupils and participate in an assembly."

“Designed by teachers for learners from early years through to Key Stage 5, the programme uses the Invictus Games and the stories of its competitors to create national curriculum-aligned resources in maths, English, Stem, art, performing arts, sport and PSHE (personal, social, health and economic) education.”

Prince Harry’s first public appearances confirmed since return to UK

After a spectacular move back to Britain, Prince Harry is also making a return to public life

Can you imagine?! But that would mean MM giving up the jam and edible flowers, rejecting any bit-part roles and having to wear tan tights again. I think she'd rather divorce him first.

I get the impression that the demographic which strongly supports the RF would rebel if the HAMs were re-admitted, and the people who don’t support the royals wouldn’t care, so there’s nothing in it for the RF.

In my crystal ball I only see a slight chance of H being given a slightly warmer welcome in the longterm and only within the family (not W& C) and, I’m afraid, once M is out of the picture.

I think, now that they are back in the UK for the next decade, their behaviour becomes far more relevant.

If they conduct themselves as private citizens/public figures in a non-controversial way, Pa will be able to see them privately ( if he wants to - a big IF there) without compromising his HoS status.

If they instead take shots at the institution that fired them, disrespect the HoS, take political stances that are at variance with those of His Majesty's governement while seeking adjacency to Pa...

I think that letter was the first step on the path of AMW-ing them.

sorry I am confused by the phrase institution that fired them ! In what way were they fired ? They removed themselves and were delighted to do so at the time .
Or am I misunderstanding the comment ?
