Well if rumours are to be believed tea throwing is more her thing.

Someone mentioned the Middletons going into the history books for bringing a touch of normality into the Royal line. I would go even further than this, and say that the Middletons have single-handedly modernised the Royal Family. For the first time ever, in the future, we will have a king (George) who has grown up in a functional family, as close to a normal life (of a rich child) as is possible.
Harry, unfortunately, has managed to give his children a very peculiar upbringing, as far as we know. I appreciate that the kids may well have had friends round to play and vice versa every day after school, we have no idea. Although the Beach Boy's witness statement suggests not.

It’s certainly a bit tragic that the one who made a career out of bleating on about his dire childhood has managed to all but replicate it for his own kids.

I've never understood his appeal.

I’m incensed about them using armed body guards to do their school drop-offs and not going along.

I'm not sure the "Diana documentary" even exists , but what do I know? I'm not in currently ( by which I mean I never have been ) with the movers and shakers in LA / Netflix etc. But then again - I wonder naughtily - currently , are H&M ? 😂

None of us knows the details of the Sandringham agreement.

I would suspect that any reference to the 'Nolan principles' that it might contain probably referred primarily to that year after Sandringham when the Sussexes were still officially deciding whether to remain working royals or not (we all now no that there was no real intent to stay).

Since their final decision to leave, there have been multiple occasions where they have commented on political issues (Harry's rants against the First Amendment, anyone?) or used titles for gain (As ever website).

The only difference now is that it is now accompanied by open defiance, rather than being done quietly.

This is about their school in the US. There is an article where two neighbors spoke about it. Not “sources close to” but actually named individuals. People rich enough not to care and not to hide their faces.

HAM apparently responded saying it’s normal for body guards to take children to school.

Rob Shuter to Maureen Callahan on the latter's podcast. Neither of them are investigative journalists of the year, but given we're talking gossip, "sources", leaks, scandal - they're as reputable as any other pundit frankly, including print media "journalists".

I don't entirely agree - I think within the parameters of the era, QEII actually had a properly familial upbringing. I think the early death of her father was an absolute disaster in terms of her ability to be a present and demonstrative mother.

She never went to school though. You're right in other respects.

I think now is the time to remove thir titles and remove Harry and heirs from the line of succession. If they dither about there will be a lot more trouble in future.

Many upper class women didn't go to school. None of the Mitford sisters did, for example.

I think education for girls was far more of a middle class preoccupation. My grandmother, born in 1908, went to boarding school but it was very much not the norm, even in their comfortable upper middle class world. Look at the Cazalet Chronicles, too.
