@Warmhandscoldheart Thank you so much for posting the "I love you bro" video with Prince William! I could only find videos that mentioned it or had only photos. This was lovely, I had to watch several times, the joy and happiness of those waving him off was infectious! Trying, at the expense of not getting much done, ( again) to catch-up with this thread!

For fear of being seen to jump on a different bandwagon here, I wonder if Harry has ADHD? Lack of impulse control, inability to focus, self medicating, restless, distractable, avoiding sustained mental effort….

This is why I think it's a bad idea for anyone to open the Diana box. Her brother (and son?) producing things about her life will just encourage the people who have been holding onto negative stories to sell them. In the past no one would have listened but time brings perspective and "Saint Diana, evil royal family" isn't really convincing anymore.

That bit was weird. He said he'd only seen them once in the back of a car then claimed they were spending loads of time with Oprah, when later the article said she spends lots of time in Hawaii. It was a bit "throw it against the wall and see what sticks" rather than convincing.

Meghan doesn’t seem to like to keep family in her life - parents, siblings etc all seem disposable. I wonder if her children will suffer the same fate.

Also didn’t Harry used to be critical of the way he and William were left with Nannie’s so much? I am sure at one stage he made a point of saying his own children wouldn’t have that….

He is on record as having dyslexia I believe and the two conditions often co-exist. Wasn't there some online interview where some host suggested he might have ADHD?

I would say it's extremely likely. It's not an excuse for poor behaviour, but it's incredibly difficult for people around to manage as the person can be so volatile and unpredictable, whilst always maintaining that they are in the right, and the victim.
I have a family member who is very similar and there simply no way to engage logically with them - just carefully manage to avoid outbursts.

The children of narcissists often do. Ugh - they are the real victims in all this . Potentially. I hope not.

If true, that is fascinating, because Charles S could block access to family photos and venues for a Diana documentary.
(And I've always said he won't want to upset William - he'll enjoy being the King's uncle, in a Wolf Hall kind of way).

There is also the Insta reel where William was walking through the streets of South London with a rep from a Charity he was visiting when a woman runs up the grass bank shouting "I see a prince" and wanting a hug and a selfie.

What is noticeable about this clip is how calm his security response is. (You can compare this clip with leaving Harry at Chatham house on July 7th where his team of big burly bodyguards are quite aggressive towards the small crown of journalists and IG volunteers while Harry takes around 5 steps from door to car). Here the security response by the 2 RPOs is quiet, calm and watchful. They take up positions, prepared to intervene, but there is no pushing and shoving,

i know some lovely people with adhd, they are difficult due to flakiness and lack of organisation. If you arrange to meet you never know when they will show up. But they are still lovely people. You can have ADHD and still be lovely and caring - or you can be horrible (or in between)

I think when Harry is in public he often displays signs of being in 'fight or flight' mode - this may be because of his military background, or genuine security concerns, but it is also often associated with neurodiversity too. Harry acts in public like my ND family member - appears outwardly friendly and confident, but when the focus is off them looks uncertain, not sure what's going on, and on concerned about doing soemthing that will be perceived as 'weird' or 'wrong'. I'd say Harry is often 'masking' whatever his real feelings are, and it's probably an exhausting state to be in.

Writing letters to your brother seems such a dated thing now with e-messaging in various forms. It is strange to think how much has changed in that regard. Though the post seemed much quicker and more reliable then than it is now. I am not sure whether we only get post delivered alternative days now or whether it just seems that way. I remember the first lot through the door before you went to work and a second delivery at lunchtime.
