Just watching Cats do Countdown and there was a joke about them, basically saying H made a mistake marrying M.
They are just a laughing stock now.

I saw Mock the Week when they did a "what Harry says v what Harry means".
It was very funny, but everyone was laughing at Harry's duplicity and stupidity.

There is no upside to giving into blackmail. IMHO, the RF should channel Wellington and say "publish and be damned!"

Again, in this era of a super charged news cycle something else will come along to shove M off the front pages within hours. And given M's low polling and track record of varying recollections, only a handful of M's Sussex Squad loyalists will give her book any credence.

Sad to say, A&L do not have the same familial connection to KC3 and the wider family as B&E had to QE2 and the wider family...all due to the reckless actions of A&L's parents. So there isn't even the same emotional leverage that got Sarah her 400,000 pounds.

True, HMTLQ was genuinely fond of Fergie. For comparison, we all saw the way she was looking at MM during the wedding. It gave a very different impression.

The other key issue here is what the RF have on Meghan. You're not telling me that MI6 have nothing at all. They may not have wanted to use it while Harry was still infatuated with her..

I thought his Feb 2026 emotional talk with parents who lost children due to cyberbullying by showed a caring, empathetic person.

Is that when, IMO, was quite obviously high as a kite?

He's becoming a complete laughingstock but I guess he and Meg go by the motto, all publicity is good publicity

They never informed the school in Monticeto that they were taking the kids out?!

Such irresponsible parenting. Looks like this is a really rash decision to move.

That article was brilliant thank you. Did they really clap back about looking after the fish? Do they ever let anything go?

Bruce, who joined the Beach Boys in 1965, added: “You can say Bruce Johnston told you that in four years he saw them only once, in the back of their car.

I wish more celebs would talk to journalists in cafes and allow themselves to be quoted like this. Things would be a lot more fun.

I don’t understand how you finally get to where you’ve been dreaming of your whole life, living amongst the rich and famous and still you mess it up.

Princess Anne is by far my favourite royal. She's just so no-nonsense. I loved that for the coronation she was 'gold stick', the one tasked with personal responsibility for the monarch's safety. No one would get past her! She's brilliant.

Anne and Camilla are keeping the show on the road, I doubt Charles dares to say No to them!

  1. It wasn't where Harry had been dreaming of his entire life.
  2. Meghan only got there by a very lucky stroke of a todger luck.

For what they had to mean anything they'd need to have both dreamt of it as a couple and worked for it. And been old - are there young people in their neighbourhood? It sounds like Eastbourne.

I do agree with posters saying Harry must have been fun at times. I never really paid attention to royal reporting, but now Mail and Telegraph reporters pop up on podcasts and you hear them say that Harry was good with people and sort of suggest him going back to doing that. It seems bonkers when you compare it to their written output sometimes. Maybe less so now since the letter, but if the palace had got all the press to gently push “project thaw” I could have seen a time when he was gradually reintroduced to certain events. I don’t agree with it, I think a lot of the public wouldn’t agree with it, I think Harry’s awful and it’d make the King look weak but I could see parts of the press pushing it.

A PP questioned why Meghan was so quiet on social media ATM. It’s because she’s on this thread and it’s a full time job just to keep up!

shanghainights · 11/09/2026 23:57

There's been various articles printed in connection with 9/11 the past few days. I was reading about the people of Gander Newfoundland where many planes were forced to land. There's one lady there who is famous called Beulah Cooper. " I don't shake hands. I'm a hugger" was her line . What ? Meghan surely wouldn't have pinched that would she? 😬

The letter apparently refers to 'a number of new families' and talks about warmth and kindness.

But Sarah Ferguson didn’t have anywhere else to go.
Meghan does.
Plus it’s 30 years later - attitudes have changed. Social media reports everything -true or not. Fergie also had a lot of love for the RF -esp the late Queen,
Meghan doesn’t have any time for any of them -a Meghan book will be vitriolic.
Do they really want to risk that?

Sarah lived in America for about 12 years following her divorce. She also published an autobiography and appeared on American TV chat shows following her divorce.

Ah ok. For all new children ?

Viviennemary · 12/09/2026 00:04

I don't think there's much Meghan can do to harm the monarchy . A lot of water has gone under the bridge since Oprah. In any case even folk that aren 't particularly royalist don't want to see them brought down by a two bit z lister actress.

ImpotentPublicFigure · 12/09/2026 00:20

Being fun and being kind are very different things. Lots of ‘fun’ people are very unkind and have fun at the expense of others.
