@cheezncrackers The list of engagements is being reported by the Telegraph, Sun, GB News, Independent, Hello, Page Six and Us Weekly at a quick glance.

DM is reporting as 'pseudo-royal'

It would be very embarrassing if any of those invitations were withdrawn following the King's statement.

Starryfifty · 11/09/2026 21:15

Why isn't Meg joining him in the US gig ?

She rocks. This woman looks interested when she visits bin depots and gets fully suited up to go down sewers 👍🏼

Princess Anne is by far my favourite royal. She's just so no-nonsense. I loved that for the coronation she was 'gold stick', the one tasked with personal responsibility for the monarch's safety. No one would get past her! She's brilliant.

Am not a PR person, but if I was, I would genuinely be advising Harry to apply for this job - it is local, its hands-on and it marries up with his interests. Take himself out of the 'royal picture' and roll his sleeves up..

Its just above minimum wage - have no idea about his finances, but again, I'd probably advise him to take the wage and invest it into Invictus. Accepting the wage (in my head) binds the contractual relationship - so he is embedded in the charity- not doing a 'when I can be bothered/when I need a front page mindset.

If he said, I'm passionate about the practicalities of veteran support and I want to learn from the ground up so that my Invictus work has an additional UK strand - and if he did the proper hard yards of small charity work where they are often in precarious situations - not getting money from the lottery, dipping into reserves(not the global foundations) understanding the importance of place, and trying to fight for the voice of veterans, to ensure policies understand and acknowledge the challenges veterans face. If he did that for 3-5 years, he could rehabilitate himself and image and could well find himself in a royal adjacent role that is constructive rather than destructive

He's too lazy unfortunately. Besides, he has a job. Prince of England

I don't think he'll do any work of any sort without financial recompense. They are both completely focused on making money.

In the early days, one of their first overseas tours, wasn't she heard to remark And we're not getting paid for this!
She'll be able to charge for her frocks and sell them on line too.

Oh he's not going to do any of that. Too much like hard work.

Gosh these threads go so fast, I’m struggling to keep up. I think MM is waiting to see what happens next, PH is the canary, Then she will fly away to cali and divorce. They are so unpopular I can’t see her wanting to stay. She will release a book post divorce no doubt. Slamming the RF.

PH will be his generations “weird uncle” sent off in disgrace to a random part of the country.

As long as he's not sent to Norfolk like Uncle AMW, we don't want to be the royal dumping ground for their errant rellies!

I know! I thought, if I was KC, that's who I'd want in charge of my safety!

ScotchBonnet74 · 11/09/2026 21:22

HMTLQEII (or her office) should not have allowed the Cheshire Royal visit for the pair of them in the first place. This was the start of her getting ideas above her station.

Because they haven't got a UK nanny yet and someone has to stay with the Hamlets?

I don’t think they would pay for Meghan’s silence. And I doubt it would work if they tried.

The RF will have had M checked out before she married Harry so I imagine they have a LOT of stuff she would prefer to stay hidden .
Having said that if Enty continues his Blinds , most of it will be on the public domain anyway ! Another one tonight .
Whatever happens , I don’t think M can expect the type of money she wants/ needs .

I bet Meghan is gutted she's not going.

Why is he even involved in this ? Surely he wasn't invited?

I call Supernanny spin off reboot. I hope Netflix gives me unroyalties.

The Duchess of Gloucester was Princess Richard of Gloucester for the first couple of years of her marriage, until the previous Duke died and Prince Richard inherited. She would always have been Princess Richard, if Prince William, the elder son, hadn't been killed in a pane crash.

It was only a month, she married in July 72 and William died in August 72.

By who ? I would pity him if he wasn't so bloody obnoxious

A PP said (apologies, can't find who), that she had a/ stalked him, and then b/ picked away at his 'tiny brain', and the rest is in my own words, but basically planted ideas in his head to make him angry about all sorts of issues, to do with his childhood.

AtIusvue · 11/09/2026 21:36

They never informed the school in Monticeto that they were taking the kids out?!

Such irresponsible parenting. Looks like this is a really rash decision to move.
