I do think the AMW route will happen. It's inevitable. They only in UK 2 weeks and it's absolute mayhem

BigWillyLittleTodger · 11/09/2026 15:57

They really need to be removed off the royal website.

What about a security detail named HAVOC

We get some retired army sarg who's gotten bored of the allotment and two RAF cadets (or scouts, whatevers at hand, any uniform will do) who could do with work experience and some of those Bluetooth headsets that celeb bodyguards have.

Sell it to Hazza as special security just for HaM and the Hamlets, and job done. They feel "safe" (I.e. like they've won) so they stop moaning* and the RF/actual security forces don't have the mither of trying to keep pandering to missives from the Markles.

*Moaning about this, at least.

The Chief of Staff of the office of Baital will release my public engagements shortly. I'll be on that balcony by Christmas...

I think so too ~ I'm sure BP have plotted it out

Step 1 was the letter

Step 2 will be their removal from the Royal Family website

Step 3 will be the removal of the Duke & Duchess of Sussex titles

And Step 4 ~ I'm really not sure. DH says "The Tower" but, whilst agreeing with his sentiments it's obviously not an option. I think the removal of his title of Prince would send him spiralling into a MH crisis so I honestly don't know what to think . . .

Tom Sykes reporting that H sent "from the office of the Duke of Sussex list of PUBLIC engagements" to the ROYAL rota. This is after the letter from KC . Proves they fully intend to carry on as they please

Soooo, has any outlet leaked this list?

I'm curious to know what organizations/entities MM thinks are 'lofty' enough to send her dimwit husband to AND who would be willing to have him. Because I'm sure she gets final approval. I also think she won't accompany him as she will be afraid of being booed 'choose to stay with the children'.

PS I had to look up 'royal rota'. I thought it was similar to the Court Circular. But it's just some sort of media outlets clearing house. So although I expect that it made him feel very, very 'royal' and important I have a feeling that there isn't going to be a huge press pool showing up to cover these 'engagements'.

Tom was vague but well child awards was one. Basically him and Jack Royston taking the piss at Harry's cheek !

On a purely personal level I'd have thought any woman would prefer a husband with more intelligence and integrity, but even if Meghan knew what integrity is I doubt anyone with it would consider her an option

Nah, she wanted a dimwit she could gaslight and manipulate. Because yes, if it was someone with intelligence and integrity they'd have run a mile early on.

Harry certainly has major issues with his 'rightful place in the universe', but IMHO Meghan exploits them for her own ends.

I think everything needs to go. If his MH suffers, his family will take care of him, as a family, not the Firm

This is a top idea.

I know some Brownies who would follow them around for £7 an hour, talking to each other secretly through paper cups tied together with string (it would have to be after school hours, though).

canklesmctacotits · 11/09/2026 16:16

Isn't it obvious that what Harry is aiming for is what his mum was aiming for, post-divorce? He's said he doesn't want to be a working royal again, he's said he doesn't want back in - I believe him (he was miserable, he hated it, he had no freedom, he couldn't be "free") and his wife certainly will have put him off it.

No, what he wants is to be the Prince of Hearts. He is trying to woo the public via the media and crappy PR, to secure a spot in the public's heart. Cheeky chappy Harry, playing with children and mucking about with the wounded, visiting hospitals, tugging at heart strings with his heart-attack beautiful wife by his side for glamorous compassion. His mum had it, he considers himself and people tell him he's more like Diana than William ever was, he thinks his wife is his mother reincarnated: ergo, he thinks that between the two of them they can run a parallel public life in the UK where they will own the hearts and minds of the public, while William and Kate are stuck in the structure of the Firm, doing what they're told, cold-hearted and restricted.

Such. A. Fucking. Tool.

tarheelbaby · 11/09/2026 14:32

And how HAM has played the blinder!

Now that Harry's announced his 'September Schedule', it's all clear to me: He's planning to carry on like a 'working royal' until KC and PW give in and take him back in an effort to control him.
PH (and MM is she's in tow) going to all these events will make them/him a de facto working royal and will make RF's insistence that PH is NOT a working royal look ridiculous because, in fact, he will be working and doing exactly the same 'work' as the 'working royals'.

The difference now is that all these charities he’s insisting on gracing with his presence don’t have to entertain him. They can adopt a “palace says no” stance with the full backing of KC.

They're both unpleasant people with lots of insecurities but they're different, and unfortunately the combination of their personalities was deadly.

Meghan seems to have researched Harry and effectively stalked him, and he was just ripe for the picking, having lost 2 gfs who shied away from royal life.

She then mined his tiny brain for information about all his resentments, insecurities, grudges etc and knew exactly how to press all the buttons. She particularly pressed the 'I lost my wonderful mother, Diana' button in all kinds of creepy ways. Harry was just too stupid to see what was going on. He ignored a whole beachful of red flags.

I'm sure she had Katherine in her sights even before she came to the UK, but one little comment from Harry such as 'You'll love her - she's been like a sister to me!' would have sealer K's fate. And the fact that Meghan then realised she was expected to kow tow to Katherine - well, that was it. Light the blue touch paper and scarper!

They've been a disastrous combo, especially for Harry. What he needed was a sensible, resilient, outgoing woman who (metaphorically) kicked him in the backside, told him to grow up and stop moaning about the highly privileged hand fate had dealt him.

Excellent summing up , @CoffeeCantata,

She was a scheming woman determined to land the richest meal ticket she could.
He was pathetically grateful to find someone / anyone who would marry him after Chelsy and Cressida turned him down.

“ And the stars were aligned “……

Ian wace is a billionaire hedge fund mngr! Information is the most important thing in that business like Epstein, knowing something a day or just 5 hours before the rest of the world equals millions. Knowing when to buy and sell is gambling unless you have excellent information sources.

Lemonorzo · 11/09/2026 16:24

AlexandraCarrington · 11/09/2026 14:24

The best Meghan could do is use this marriage to manoeuvre her way into a better one.

What better marriage could there be? Leaving aside H and his dubious qualities, she had wealth, influence, publicity, the potential to develop her (alleged) humanitarian interests on a global stage....

Where would she look for a new husband? And what potential new husband would want to take on all the baggage that would come with her?

A billionaire, or someone who gets invited to the best events, unlike Harry. It must have been annoying that W&C get to go to the Bond premiers etc.

AcrossthePond55 · 11/09/2026 16:25

@jeffgoldblum

Once again the 8 hr time difference has made me late to the party, but thank you for the new thread. 💋

Meanwhile, pondering the state of them from a US West Coast point of view.

It's really interesting to me that they were accepted here with pretty much open arms and how in just a short time they've managed to alienate the movers and shakers in 'The Industry'. A lot of these are people whose faces one wouldn't recognize and whose names aren't 'household'. But by God, they run the 'business end' of the show and their partners/spouses run Hollywood 'society'! People tremble before the wives/partners! They also didn't realize that you must be accepted by those movers and shakers and partners/spouses to even get near a real A-List person. And that once you're there you have to work really hard to be accepted, even on the 'fringe'.

Their whole modus operandi here has been "Don't you know who we are? Don't you just love us?" right up until they boarded the jet for the UK Yes, the movers, shakers, spouses/partners, and A-List knew exactly 'who they were' and did not 'just love them'.

Now it seems they're using somewhat the same tactics in the UK. And it's not working there, either.

I think M is keeping her head well below the parapet. She's not completely stupid and if she wants to forge a life on her own at some point she doesn't want pictures and posts that tie her in too much with H. She wants 'plausible deniability'.

Still trying to get the wi-fi working in the new house.

She needs a new booster in each corner of the house. Have you ever tried to get any sort of signal in those stone houses?

It was reported that Ian Wace was assisting them financially with their move to the Uk.

Just looked him up because I hadn't heard of him. Why would be want to assist them? He seems to be fairly low profile with a reputation to maintain. Why would he want to get dragged into the drama?

He has his own philanthropic endeavours; I hope he doesn't let H&M get their sticky paws all over them.

I would have thought Ian Wace preferred a lower profile .

I think financially they are ok. Not billionaires but enough until inheritance kicks in. I definitely think Pa is bank rolling them too

I am not so sure that KC is bankrolling them . School fees yes . Perhaps housing costs but that’s it . And no sending clothing bills to BP !

Radar Online, hmm....

I find it hard to believe that the Diana Award had even intended to have a gala dinner. It's a bit low key for that kind of thing. I also find it difficult to believe that William would nix it (he doesn't even run it so it's not his decision) just because Harry was going to appear when they've always "presented" on alternative years.

Don't the Diana Award have online award announcements anyway? That seems to be what they've done in the past.

Edit for typos.
