One thing that I disagree with Jan Moir on in her article (linked upthread) is where she starts a paragraph with 'Prince Harry means well ... [but]'.

Harry does NOT mean well. At this point, he knows exactly what he is doing and what he is working to destabilise. He is in the game to cause trouble for the monarchy which, like it or not, gives the UK and the Commonwealth Realms their Head of State and HoS's official representatives. Harry also seems to get a kick out of openly insulting and looking down on the UK population.

Some of us foresaw this in 2020. And so, here we are. The world is unstable enough without our HoS being nipped away at by this stupid little pissant terrier Dook with his love for foreign despots. Meghan's long gone and the royal family has frozen him out, and Burnham - a pragmatist at heart - is in no mood for it all.

(In fact I hope there's a reckoning and a dressing down for a couple of Labour MPs and x2 Labour peers from Andy Burnham one of these days.)

I wonder if they need help with the national curriculum?

Maths. If Harold applies 8 hour cream at 8 am, what time will he need a top up?

Also maths. If Invictus Games cost 130k per athlete to stage, but the athletes have to pay their own way, how much did Meghan’s outfits cost?

English. Critical analysis of sources. To what extent is the Lord Chamberlain’s statement an absolute bollocking? use other sources to support your answer. Mumsnet PR disasters thread 253 may be used for guidance.

Geography. A) How long has Portugal been part of the Cotswolds? B) what year did Christopher Columbus discover Soho House?

History. What happened when Edward and Wallis thought they could have their cake and eat it?

Food and Nutrition. Make a dish. Any dish. Just don’t serve it with flower sprinkles.

😂😂😂

No, People Magazine are Harry’s mouthpiece.

People magazine is everyone's mouthpiece. It's like Hello or OK Magazine here. Full of celeb twaddle, a good portion of it placed by their publicists to get a certain message out. My MIL loves People magazine and is a big fan of HaM 🙄

Didn't People magazine (and other celeb magazines) used to publish an annual poll for the most unpopular/hated celebrities in America, and wasn't the winner very often Meghan Markle, closely followed by Prince Hazbeen? What changed I wonder?

And how HAM has played the blinder!

Now that Harry's announced his 'September Schedule', it's all clear to me: He's planning to carry on like a 'working royal' until KC and PW give in and take him back in an effort to control him.
PH (and MM is she's in tow) going to all these events will make them/him a de facto working royal and will make RF's insistence that PH is NOT a working royal look ridiculous because, in fact, he will be working and doing exactly the same 'work' as the 'working royals'.

Ummmmm no, if they are planning on acting like that then they are on the fast track to losing their titles. So, not playing a blinder at all, just clocking up yet another own goal.

They don’t learn. 🤷‍♀️

Hello, @BasiliskStare, welcome home. I wonder if @Puzzledandpissedoff finally managed to fly out of Rome airport?

Starryfifty · 11/09/2026 14:58

Tom Sykes reporting that H sent "from the office of the Duke of Sussex list of PUBLIC engagements" to the ROYAL rota. This is after the letter from KC . Proves they fully intend to carry on as they please

I just don’t understand how two people (not just one) can be so deluded and dense.

Yes I’m sure they egg each other on and actually are both bad for each other, but you really would think at their ages they would possess a modicum of sense and wisdom between them.

This move back was never going to work without acceptance of the huge betrayal and hurt they’ve caused. Even then with mass apologies it’s a tall ask to want people to move on from all that’s been said and written and forge a future way forward. They still haven’t learnt a thing.

Even the most savvy PR professionals in the world would have trouble now positioning them in a good light. They’re just toxic and they wouldn’t listen and follow advice anyway. The definition of stupidity is doing the same thing again and again and expecting a different result.

On, oh I don't know, thread number 32 or 33, a pp whose name I've forgotten put forward a fascinating hypothesis. With H & M, she said that one could have reasonably expected each to enter the marriage with certain pockets of knowledge - one in the area of show business/entertainment, and the other in the area of the BRF. Instead of informing each other, as would normally happen in a couple, they "infected each other with their ignorance".

I really liked that theory.

I apologise if the pp recognises herself and I did her an injustice in this summing up.

Aren't they the publication that revealed (unintentionally) to the world that they have H's personal email address? Or was that another rag?

I think you're attributing far too much foresight and planning to Meghan. It's clear from their antics these past 7 years that neither thinks more than one step ahead. If that. Everything is done on impulse. The original Grand Flounce was, and so is this.

I also disagree that there Meghan would be able to monetise her 'royal links' even after a potential divorce. Firstly because I don't think Americans are fascinated by the royals in the way they used to be. Secondly, with the Wales kids growing up fast, frankly there's no real interest in the Sussex children. A post divorce 'tell all' might be a money spinner, but I'd imagine any divorce settlement would come with a watertight NDA. But we are getting ahead of ourselves!

And thirdly, she seems to have massively pissed off a large number of movers and shakers, and seems to be regarded as unworkable-with, back in Cali.

Rhaidimiddim · 11/09/2026 15:05

FancyBiscuitsLevel · 11/09/2026 14:08

I’d thought that too. She’s stopped posting. I had assumed settling kids into new schools / moving house.

Still trying to get the wi-fi working in the new house.

The disastrous return actually works in RF favour. No invite to Catherine's carol service, Xmas walks and KC "standing by H's side" at Ingruftus all off the table now

Edited

Agree completely, starryfifty
As many will know, IF they'd managed to keep quiet for just a while I honestly believe Charles might have been stupid enough to push their reintegration, but even I can't see him doing it now

I particularly love the 2nd one . . . it's just reminded me

That's not my prince . . . his bedroom is smaller than his brothers

That’s not my prince. He polishes his knob with Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream.

With all the puff about H's "public" engagements, and how it's him trying to appear as a WRF member again, one thing gets lost - they don't appear to have any source of income sufficient to fund the life they expect to lead. H is too monumentally thick and privileged to understand this, and has never in his life had to think about it, but I would imagine that M is more worried, as pre-marriage she had to scrabble for money.

This is why titles need to go and soon

Starryfifty · 11/09/2026 15:10

From the office of Harry Mountbatten Windsor doesn't have the same effect. Titles need to do asap

AlexandraCarrington · 11/09/2026 15:11

What happened when Edward and Wallis thought they could have their cake and eat it?

Wallis never ate cake! Wasn't 'Cake' her nickname for the then Duchess of York - future QEQM?

It gets worse

At least they didn't use HRH.

PH (and MM is she's in tow) going to all these events will make them/him a de facto working royal

The letter made it clear they can do charity events or whatever, but as private individuals. They are not to present themselves in any way as representing the monarchy, they are not to be accorded any of the ceremony that would accompany a royal visit, and no public funding is to be used to pay for any of it.

Not quite. It was Cookie, but was meant as in “the Cook”. I think it was Edward who found it because he thought she was a bit low rent, for some reason 🤷‍♀️

I think financially they are ok. Not billionaires but enough until inheritance kicks in. I definitely think Pa is bank rolling them too
