Do you all think HaM will be invited for Easter/christmas/summer?
I know they won't be on the church walks or remembrance day.
I can't see any of the family being happy to be around them wrt their leaks/lies/obfuscations?

Absolutely not....given their awful behaviour and their proclivity for leaking every single private conversation to the US gutter tabloids..none of the family will want to see them or have to deal with them. William refuses to see or speak with him so if Harry and his wife were invited then William and his family will refuse to attend.

A lot of those details don't make sense when scrutinised
-Birth certificate - fairly sure the child could be registered at school in time to start and the paperwork sorted out later
-Trust regulation - how on earth would someone making a FB video know anything about this? It would be the King and his lawyers
-Tiaras - a useful addition for engagement for a video - but not really news. Most of the court jewellery (such as tiaras) is not considered personal property
-Signature of document at Sandringham - KC3 has been at Balmoral for a month
-A future monarch will be able to change arrangements where necessary

All of the jewellry which is not kept in the Tower of London (inc all the tiaras) is the private personal property of The King.
It passes to the next monarch because of IHT and to keep the collection intact. The Late Queen saw various pieces her grandmother Queen Mary had given to daughters in law/other relations leave the family (one of the parures was quite important too) and I’m pretty sure she didn’t want that to happen again -hence Sarah Ferguson getting a non royal tiara, and Poor Sophie getting the worlds worst tiara made of bits and pieces stuck on a tiara band rather than a suitable tiara from the Queens collection. Catherine’s tiaras are all on loan (ergo, if the divorced she would be required to hand them back like Diana had to) but of course one day her husband will own them all and she can do with them what he chooses.

You know, if, say 10 years ago, someone had written a drama with this story, people would have said it was too far fetched.
It just never stops.

Chris Ship

We asked Invictus Games and Prince Harry’s office if the Ugandan decision was linked to this week’s Lord Chamberlain letter about the Sussexes.
Sussex source told @itvnews: "Intended or unintended, this is clearly a consequence of the Lord Chamberlain’s guidance regarding the Duke and Duchess of Sussex that was rushed out without consultation on Monday.
“Sadly, the only people who will suffer are the Invictus Games competitors.”

They don't seem to understand that KC made a decision, it wasn't a consultation because as king he doesn't need to consult with private individuals.
I doubt KC doesn't approve of invinctus but he has had to make the distinction of a worthy charity fronted by private individuals, not to be mistaken for royal patronage with state funding. Thereby clipping the wings and hopefully reducing the chances of heavily redacted expenses next year.
I am surprised after the funding 60m can't be adequately explained why any service veterans would want to be involved. Imagine the benefit that 60m would make to wounded vets, housing and support. Makes me bloody angry tbh that so much has been squandered.

Just throwing it out there I would happily have the world's worst tiara, cobbled together from random jewellz and possibly dried macaroni sprayed silver.

I have just seen video on FB which goes into a few elaborate details not known before to me.

Do not know if true but very extensive detail if untrue. The gist -
H+M have had problem registering DC at school because there is some difficulty with Harry's name on DC birth cert as parent. An inconsistency how he called himself.
KC has drawn up a some new regulation regards royal Trusts stating any member of RF that has lived outside GB for 5 years cannot have any claim on royal assets ie money/property etc This is why H=M came back to uk so suddenly but they have been away more than 5 years.
All the royal tiaras are now property of the state - implying M cannot have any.
It also said W had been told very late about these changes being signed at Sandringham and he helicoptered there to try to stop it but was barred from contacting Charles while actually signing. (C was on third floor)
Apparently he wanted document/s to say future monarchs could change these new arrangements - but was not allowed to discuss with C before he signed..

That sounds like unsubstantiated rubbish to me.

Me too. I worked it out on a much much earlier thread that each veteran who competed had ‘cost’ about £115,000.
So why did the6 have to,pay their own costs and why did their family’s have to buy bloody tickets to see them??
WHERE did the money go, WHY has no one questioned it and why ,if they wanted to help veterans didn’t they build facilities to help vets/or homes or even tell the veterans ‘stay at home! Here’s £115k to make your life better!
But no -there would be no Harry and Meghan show then. £60+million spent on PR, and ‘expenses’ for two dreadful grifters.
Invictus should be shit down.

Absolutely. Tiaras property of the State? No, the collection is the property of the King. Plus that is such obvious nonsense about Sandringham! Really, so much nonsense.
Small but important point; the third floor at Sandringham would be the attics!

I have been asking this since Jonny Mercer <spit> sanctioned £26m in public funding to lure this even then shambolic circus here way back when.

There was a play in the West End a while back called King Charles III about a time in the near future after W&C’s marriage, but before M was in the picture. It had Harry eloping with a punk, I think!

It seems very tame compared with what’s happened!

Reckon we'd all have respected him eloping to Vegas or Gretna with a mohawked punk from Brighton* called Persephone

*Other brands of punk are available

I adore 'out there' WE stuff but am supremely tight so will only pay seat filler prices.

If that had come up on my offers I'd have been there with bells on 🎭

Agree that not having a birth certificate on day 1 wouldn't be a problem. Ask me how I know...

HarryLimeFoxtrot · 09/09/2026 21:13

Do you even need a birth certificate? Isn’t a passport sufficient? I’d have thought proof of address would’ve been the sticking point!

Invictus should be shit down.

A German MP kicked up and demanded to an account of where the money spent at Dusseldorf Invictus went. So people have kicked up before, but got nowhere.

I can't find a link right now, but I recall that the German MP found out that 10m Euros were accounted for under sundry expenses, including accommodation and entertaining.

Especially if they wrote their address as:

c/o Windsor Castle

And as their emergency contact:

HRH The King (relationship: paternal grandfather)

That avaricious pair of spongers pissed upwards of £10m down the toilet on booking out 5 star hotels and entertaining?
How is this being kept on the down low??

Thank you @DaisyDooley - as soon as I saw your name I knew you would correct me if I'd messed up on the tiara issue ☺️
