I’m with Starry on this one lovelygreen

KC will pay. Where do you think Harry gets his arrogance from? Us plebs will understand why a father has do his duty and support his wayward son.

Personally, I think it will all quietly go away, the MiG are currently working hard on Project Thaw!!

Same reason we’re not hearing about the slapping lifeguards asses, Ingriftus, white pill etc.

Maybe not to particularly protect Harry but the general RF image. I assume it’s a losing battle as Harry simply cannot STFU

Edited

I think you are right.

ShamedBySiri · 25/08/2026 22:01

Also regarding leaving the children I thought it extraordinary how long the children were left when the two of them were over here for what I think had been planned to be a week? before HMTLQ died and they stayed here until the funeral. One or both could easily have gone back briefly, or better still had the nanny (+/- Doria) bring them over - they still had Frogmore back then.
I think they must have been away at least three weeks? When the children were still very young, Lily was just one.

canklesmctacotits · 25/08/2026 22:09

Harry wants his children to have a British education because (1) he understands its value internationally - Meghan understands this better, you get away with murder with a British accent in the US (2) it's what he knows (3) it's the bare minimum for entry into a certain social strata in the UK, the one Harry's familiar with and will want for his children (4) the rules on the line of succession require it.

All of this will be music to Meghan's ears - she loves the word "international", she thinks it's glamourous. I know more people than I can count who run away to distant shores, repeatedly, thinking they won't get caught out as failures in this or that part of their lives because nobody will know what happened in the last place and it'd be easy to fudge anyway. It's easy to shrug off differences, negative social situations, money issues etc by saying "it's different there", or in her case "it's what they're used to". Summers in Europe (Portugal), an English (let's face it, Harry won't want Wales or NI or Scotland) public school, back and forth to Montecito? Meghan will have whiplash from the life her children will be living. She'll be INSUFFERABLE amongst her "friends".

From that article "the Sussexes are looking for a country house nearby with a budget of around £8million." - If they've got that he doesn't need EJ to bail him out on the ANL costs. " Who knows 😊

There was a snippet a few months ago on one of the US celebrity sites that Harry had signed over the Montecito mansion to Meghan and renounced any financial interest in it.

I wonder if this is the start of a long term separation much like KC and Diana whereby they were living separate lives as early as 1986, announced a formal separation in 1992 but didn't start divorce proceedings until 1996 after 10 years of leading separate lives.

If Meghan really has got the money from the house - it could be that KC will buy a home in Harry's name- (they were offered an estate in Herefordshire after the wedding but turned it down and I think they were offered one again at the time of Megxit and turned it down again). I expect KC will pay school fees and might offer Harry an allowance like he used to pay them before they left (depending on their financial situation). Although hopefully this time KC will nail down conditions.

The downside is that KC would likely commit William to financially supporting his sulky brother.

You see I don't think Meghan thinks like that at all. I don't think she every "got" the way that Royals act and especially the royal/aristocratic sense of duty to treat the staff well.

Instead she took the "Diva Hollywood A-lister" as her template where temperamental actors have tantrums and scream, shout and throw things at staff. This was the woman -

  • who didn't understand why she didn't get paid for royal appearances
  • who had herself announced to an empty room
  • who couldn't comprehend the hierarchy and announced that she would "collaborate" with the Queen
  • who threw a tantrum at Angela Kelly when she couldn't have her pick of tiaras
  • who was rude to the gardeners at the Windsor estate
  • who threw a cup of tea at a staff member on the Australia tour
  • Who shoved her way through chairs in St Pauls to jump the procession queue
  • who mocked the curtsey
  • who has a gigantic staff turnover in the UK and US
  • immediately merched her Australian faux tour outfits after visiting an eating disorder clinic/Jewish massacre memorial
So I really don't think she has learnt at all - indeed doesn't even thing she was wrong

Oh, she knew. She just didn't like that she wasn't at the top of the tree and had to do some deferring. She was in her absolute element on the Nigerian faux-royal tour where she was guest of honour over Harry, with her personal bodyguards and armed protection, people standing to attention for her rather than him. He looked either peeved or embarrassed by the ott displays of the musclemen. Her issue isn't with hierarchy; her issue is not being at the top of it.

They will get ignored in the cotswolds. No one is impressed with celebs, they are two a penny, which is why they like it:)
If M is rude to bar staff she would most likely be asked to leave.

And it was the xotswolds where The waiters refused to work and serve Vance!

I am still amazed at the story a few pages back that the late Queen had to have a word with M personally on more than one occasion about being rude.

Surely M must have been mortified. And H- why did he put up with it? Surely he would have realised one day it might be him being crushed and humilitated by M?

Apart from.the fact you dont upset THE QUEEN! She was older, and the sort of woman you want to like you. Surely a 36 year old divorced actress would have known this? Marry in haste, repent at leisure...

Struggling a bit with the idea of Harry's great insight sinto the comparative value of UK and US education systems. Not even Eton was able to instill much intellectual curiosity in him. It's also insulting to all the fine teachers and schools in California.
Harry grew up with friends because Charles had lifelong friends whose children naturally played with William and Harry. He has not provided this continuity for his children with the rotating list of celebrities and temporary friendships which is Meghan's style. Many of Harry's UK friends were frozen out by Meghan, not invited to the wedding and now aligned with William. He cannot recreate his childhood because he blew it all up.

I remember reading about the mother of one of H’s old friends who had been hurt and angered by H’s treatment of her family, who had provided so much support and security during his teenage years post Diana’s death. He was one of those old friends who Meghan had disliked and cut off.

Can’t remember the name but the friend had one of those silly public school nicknames…it will come back to me eventually…🙁

And all that crap about Archie's school and being a 'day boarder' who sleeps at home ... Of course he's not bloody boarding, he's only just turned 7 years old ffs. He's going to an after-school club for prep so that Harry doesn't have to help him with his homework, let's be honest here. The school's probably going to give him his tea, too.

Then at 8 years old - boarding it is.

Yeah the long school day of "day boarding" where the kids leave after prep and dinner sounded really sad for Archie coping with a new country, new schooling system, playing sports he's never heard of (rugby, cricket field hockey...), some language differences and parents who only want him home to sleep.

It makes you wonder how much time HAM actually spend with them in Montecito? Or is it mostly the nannies with HAM dropping in to do the fun stuff? I was always a bit surprised how easily HAM spent weeks away from Montecito when they were younger with their faux tours and not even flying them over when the Queen died and they were separated for around 3 weeks.

For all of his talk - Harry seems determined to recreate his own upbringing that he bitterly criticised as causing him "generational pain" and it makes me applaud the work William has done in developing his parenting to be very different from the "boarding school at 8/Disney parents in the holidays" that he and Harry experienced - the positive effects of the Middleton influence.

I think she's just clueless.

Meghan, although absolutely a stickler for her own titles, always tried to diminish H’s family by referring not to the Queen but to “your grandmother “ or to Prince Charles as “Harry’s father’.

In some contexts this wouldn’t mean anything but with Meghan it was all part of the “I’m not going to show deference to anyone!’ attitude.

Thanks for the links. Totally off topic but that picture of Fergie!! Whatever was she wearing??

Did she break into song - “I’m just a girl who cain’t say No” ? 😂😂😂

Diana also wore some shockers in the 80s

Yes, it's not the concept of hierarchy that she has a problem with. Everything points to her being very, very conscious of when people are below her in a hierarchy (e.g. staff to be shouted at). And very, very keen to assert parity or dominance when people are above her in a hierarchy ("collaborating" with QEII, trying to hold hands with Catherine, etc etc).

I actually think that this is largely why she's constructed her weird fantasy pretendy-royal Insta-life. Yes, it's about trying to look good to the outside world. But it's also a story that she's telling herself about how she's at the top of her self-constructed world, because she's just better than everyone else.

Anyone with a very wealthy elderly widowed father in Montecito had better keep tabs on them, that's all I'm saying.
Elderly widowers are very vulnerable to gold diggers, I've seen it with friend's fathers and my own FiL remarried within a year of being widowed, thank fully it was a good marriage and she took good care of him.
Enough money will more than compensate for a title, especially when it comes with a horrid controlling family.
Check out Undine Spragg again! 😂

There were rumours that Meghan was warned away from Gordon Getty by his kids in 2023 a couple of years after his wife of 55 years died.

There were also rumours that Meghan was calling and trying to arrange a meeting with Bill Gates the same week his divorce was announced

It was Emille Van Cutsem.
One of her sons (Edward from memory) was page boy at Charles &Dianas Wedding, they are all very close to William.
Edit -I don’t think the name is silly but each to their own.

Why would anyone be surprised at them leaving kids in US? They have no problem being away from them. If they joined them on trips, media would know about it, back of head shots, etc

KC will pay because H is his son and his shitty behaviour is a reflection on him and RF. No way Dr C would even consider this if she didn't have enough evidence. I would think it's pretty damning

ShamedBySiri · 25/08/2026 23:14

Slight change of topic. This YouTube with Paula Froelich discusses a scam Bill Gates daughter Phoebe has been caught up in. Starting at 9.01 or thereabouts.
It's complex IT stuff to the likes of me but she explains it well and better than I can. Basically something to do with cookies, so that when people use third party shopping sights eg the Shop My that Meghan uses, the payments which should go to the site and the influencer got creamed off to Phoebe instead.
Something like that. She could be done for wire fraud. Anyway I thought it somewhat amusing that whatever money Meghan should have been making via marching her clothes on Shop My is likely to have been scammed off by Phoebe Gates!!!

Maybe she can sue Bill and show Harry how to win big in the courts. 😂
