Flying through these threads at a rate of knots! A shiny new thread for yet more Sussex shenanigans!

Harry phoning DB to berate VB for - allegedly- leaking stories about M kind of backfired! Sir David and Lady Victoria have attended a State Banquet and DB is well in with KC .

DB spends more time with KC than PH does.

Their whole modus operandi is an absolute mess. It seems to get worse and worse. They are an entertainment show for the masses now and nothing more. The two of them have created their own reality, but I feel so sorry for their two children who will grow up very damaged I fear.

Of course that author is another one making a living out of this whole circus but I agree with a lot of what he has written.

It really does. H is so delusional he thinks he'll be welcome back by the British public who adore him 😳

They both got stuck in 2018. The British public were so welcoming and so supportive. The RF gave them the wedding they wanted, and the engagements they asked for. They holidayed with rich, well connected friends, the Bank of Pa paid for Meghan's incredible wardrobe and other living expenses, they were truly royalty.
However. It went to their heads. Think how much money they could make? Think what they could do if there weren't the constraints of the RF!
Go to California, be rich beyond their wildest dreams, become global A Listers!
No. Because that requires work and effort and talent and resilience. It doesn't happen because you're greedy, bitter, entitled and petulant.

Yes, particularly as H&M were apparently 'advising' Brooklyn at one point.

To my mind the DM author nailed it here:

Didn't we see what is described in the paragraph I emphasised pretty much played out exactly as described yesterday in the context of the meeting (or not) with the Horner's?

Can't stand HAM but their kids are innocent. Also they are actually prince and princess and first cousins to the Walse dc, who themselves will soon have opinions about what type of relationship they wish to have with their cousins, especially George. I am convince Princess of Wales will handle this challenge beautifully. She is classy, intelligent, educate but has a definitive silk glove iron fist vibe. I'd imagine she's quite the diplomat and her dc (and William) will be well advised by her.

Agree they are characters in their own pantomime - ridiculed by the world. I just can’t believe they pump out this level of entertainment for free - and for the tabloids to mine a rich revenue stream - but don’t make a dime out of it themselves - only inadvertently diminishing the value of their own brand with their own ludicrous words and actions.

If they did the reality show at least they would be paid $$$$$ for it - should have listened to wise old Doria “don’t give the milk away for free” - but neither of them have the insight, wit or humour to do something like this.

And, of course, they want to have the photos to sell to the highest bidder/put in their next book or film. Need to exploit every possible opportunity!

It has been suggested that Netflix are sniffing around for another documentary. Their new life in the UK and how unwelcoming and cold the RF were towards then and the hamlets

They didn’t quite get the wedding they wanted ; Harry said that they wanted WA or St Paul’s but were told no . They also didn’t get a red carpet .
And remember it was a spectacle for the masses !

I stand corrected. However, I think they got carried away with the public response and the wealth and opportunities.

Which is why anyone looking to befriend and hang out with them is vulnerable. Watertight NDAs are required so Sussexes don't share private info on global stage. Toxic.

Totally agree . They really thought they were going to be the stars of the RF .

Children don't miss relationships that they've never had.

It would be different if they were already close, and something happened to break that, but in this case the cousins have never met.

'Don't give the milk away free' is the opposite of being a philanthropist. Obviously neither of them are philanthropists in any way shape or form, but that used to be the way they described themselves.

Is it my imagination? Apart from Jobson's essay this morning, compared with all the reports of the HAM (or should just be H?) homecoming in recent days, the papers seem to have gone quiet on the subject - probably waiting for more clickbait fodder from across the pond.
