Not sure why they had to announce or give a statement they were returning to the UK or why they have a press office or pr.

They could quite easily have sorted schools, arranged flights and rented a house out without splahing their every move over the media, and setting up a press whats app group:)

Its all for maximum publicity. I dont understand why they dont guard their privacy. They are using the presz as a personal facebook diary, and sure most of us know a tedious couple posting their everymove, food pics and how they feel. And uplifting slogans to make you puke:) .

Before the internet, this would have died a death unless it was a slow news week. The press had to be so much more ruthless with content. Now its a constant stream.of content demand. A crazy solution might be to stop feeding content:)

As long as rhey are completely barred for life from receiving public money, being working royals, from benefitting from theur royal status ie cheap rent in royal accomdation, and these rules apply to their dc and gdc- then they can just get on with their lives.

@Beesandhoney123 I was just catching up on the thread and it occurred to me that apart from the RF being told they were coming back they could have just come back and let months go by before people knew they were here.

I think it was pure distraction from the costs ruling. Otherwise why then? And all those sudden influx of new posters, straight to the RF board?

Does it mean that he will stand up and represent himself? If so I can’t imagine what Dr Sophie is going to face once he’s on his feet. It’s like a horror story.

I’m pretty certain that the ‘Litigation in Person’ categorisation just means that the court hasn’t yet been told the names of H and Mark Dyer’s lawyers, because they haven’t responded yet to the claim being filed. It’ll need to be soon though.

I assume H and MD think Sophie will settle ? What do our posters with legal knowledge think ?

I don't have much time for Nadine but I think she has nailed how an affluent rural community will feel about having the Sussexes in their midst. I grew up in such an area, we weren't affluent, you pick up the social niceties from observation. I hope that the Sussexes can.

My "case" was decided by the bishop of the diocese.

They must have a legal team behind the scenes working to negotiate an out of court settlement though? I feel sure they will settle which is a great shame as we will all be deprived of the gaity of another court case to discuss and Dr Sophie revealing all those receipts.

But maybe he’s still hunting around for another lawyer to take the case as presumably the bouffant one will be scratched off the list. And simultaneously hunting down the back of the sofa for the money to pay them.

And she forgot French despite studying it for ten years, as she told Craig Ferguson and that she speaks Spanish but they speak a completely different Spanish in Argentina.

I miss the days of getting a newspaper in the morning and that was it until the evening news on TV. There would have been so much less hysteria about the spare back then.

Apparently, but the bigger mansion they hoped to buy fell through, so not sure if it's still on the market.
