Has HAMs school choice been announced yet? Moneys not on Lambrook!
Would parents of said school need to be informed? Or because they are no longer working royals would they not need to announce?
Will they go state or private? Can they afford the top private schools now? I gather the state won't pay for their kids education?

So not at Kitebrook then?

weegielass01 · 05/09/2026 19:33

how does the kitebrook parent know if they are kitebrook not dragon themselves?

Gossip (from a Kitebrook parent today) is that they are at the Dragon School in Oxford.

Boarding then on cards from 9 years?

His impending legal bills, 10 million dollar mortgage , champagne lifestyle on bucks fizz budget...

You’re just making stuff up. At the beginning of the thread you were insisting they leased the property in America and now you’ve been told you’re wrong, they’ve got a massive mortgage. How on earth do you think you know that?

kirinm · 05/09/2026 19:48

Backedoffhackedoff · 23/08/2026 15:29

They Just read it in some rich list. The mortgage has also been published, its public record. They just follow the reporting around them I imagine.

I just find it astonishing that they don't realise that leaking, blaming, whining and playing the victim just antagonises the RF and the country. Why don't they learn anything?

Really?

Surely even the most humour free dragon slayer couldn't fail to see the irony.

Sounds like a guess to me. Looking at the Dragon website they don't offer day boarding which they were saying Archie would be doing and term hasn't started so how would they know anyway?

Interesting... Dragon attracts a lot of media type & academics not sure if they'd be all too impressed with Hams inability to be discreet...The drama & arts in Dragon is supposed to be fantastic maybe that appealed to M

Are any of these schools even back yet? The private schools near me aren’t.

Dontevenlookatme · 06/09/2026 12:55

Robert Hardman’s theory is that they’ve put down deposits on all the schools that fit the bill so nobody will be able to work it out. How fiendishly clever of them, if only people cared one way or the other.

Minieggsforbreakfast · 06/09/2026 14:17

kitebrook are back. Dragon aren’t.

Backedoffhackedoff · 06/09/2026 18:25

I don’t get the dragon school (as someone from the area) the commute from the Cotswolds is increasingly bonkers the further west you go. Even somewhere v close to Oxford like burford is nightmare as a school run.

I said this too but not sure you are quoting me. I live in North Oxfordshire, and the commute in the Dragon school from the outskirts of the Cotswolds wouldn't be something I would think either of them would want to put there kids through.
I know people who commute from the surrounding villages in my area in to Summer Fields school which seems like a full time job if you have more than one child there.

AuroraCake · 06/09/2026 19:55

The commute would be mental. I think you can forget about the dragon. They are small children. You really wouldn't want ore than 20 minutes.

Apologies I didn’t see your post before I did mine!

AuroraCake · 06/09/2026 20:06

If they are near the Chipping Nortony area, I am plumping for Sibford School (if it isn't Kitebrook. But in my mind Kitebrook makes sense.

MauveLibrary · 06/09/2026 20:16

As long as the taxpayer doesnt end up footing a bill for their security...I cant see anyone in that very affluent and very royalist area welcoming a pair of "fucking grifters". Apologies for the language I am quoting from a spotify exec who openly refers to them with that epithet.

Socially that well heeled area largely circles around Princess Anne so not likely to want either Harry or his wife in their midst.

The children are innocent in this. Wherever they go they will be in receipt of excellent education and pastoral care. The other parents of whichever school it is are not likely to be pleased if a complete circus descends though.

Princess Anne's cotswolds and where they are likely to be is very different.

Does it really matter where the children go to school? , they are not responsible for the ( ridiculous) behaviour of their parents, let’s leave them in peace.

Don't forget they are millionaires and their fortunes are well looked after, they are independent of state or family support.

I doubt the children would go to state schools because the media would be hounding them far more easily.

I’m not interested personally, but I don’t see the harm in people discussing schools as long as they stay away from discussing A and L, which tbf people have.

It is just one of those things with royals..people like to know this stuff. There is zero chance the media would bother the children there. They apparently already know anyway but not saying it. They all have contacts. It may never leak out but more than likely local gossip will spill online. Never a peep about where they went in America.

But if it wasn't for A&L then this thread wouldn't even exist. I know, let's discuss schools in St Albans instead. Oh right, no royal connection. I agree with @jeffgoldblum

You’ve misunderstood my post. Of course this is about A and L as the children of HAM. But what nobody is doing, nor should they, is discuss the merits of schools as a match for the perceived characteristics of A and L, about which we know nothing and shouldn’t speculate.
