ETA The memoir of someone who knew her for all of her life would be more informative than someone who knew her briefly and through a young child’s eyes.

Harry knew her for 12 years, not exactly 'briefly', but I agree her brother would probably give a more balanced picture.

Overall I wish he weren't doing it. There's already a lot of books out there with information on her personality and achievements. A personal memoir with detail on her- yes. A full book primarily about her- no.

Or they are collaborating on something. Weren't they supposed to have stayed with him when they were over in the summer?

I feel sorry for William if that is the case. I would think it would be the last thing he wants.

Won't buy any book on Diana though.

I hope Spencer will remember that Diana had TWO sons and not make even more trouble for William. I hate the way William, because he doesn’t blather on endlessly like Harry, gets forgotten in this context. Saint Diana was his mother too.

Or if you really want to read it, wait for copies to start arriving in charity shops. There always seem to be Diana memoirs from all and sundry gathering dust in charity shops!

A concerted smear campaign that still hasn’t worked. Diana has been dead for nearly 30 years and still has more charisma and charm than William Charles Camilla Kate put together.

I do hope he includes the bit about how Spencers threw a very naive 19yr old to the wolves media wise, all for a bit of fame and limelight for The Spencers.

Maybe he'll demonstrate some regret that neither of his older sisters stopped the whole thing in the first place? I'm sure a quiet word with someone at BP to say she would not be cut out for the whole circus would've helped.

Not sure it's fair to blame Diana's sisters. Sarah Spencer had previously had a relationship with Charles which hadn't worked out - if anything should have given Diana pause for thought, it was that, but she was in love with him and with the idea of being Princess of Wales, she wasn't going to listen to naysayers.
