I wonder if Princess Margaret is a more aposite parallel than Wallis and Edward? Although H doesn’t have her talents, he does appear to share some of her weaknesses; cigarettes, alcohol and who knows what else. Bluntly, if he doesn’t clean up his act, by the time A & L are old enough to generate column inches he may not be well enough to affect anything.

I don’t wish to put you off whatever it is you’re doing but that new spread looks like something I once found in my knickers during a heavy period.

Both, that he’s publicly admitted to ‘in the past’. Heavy boozing, cannabis, cocaine, and psychedelics/hallucinogenics like DMT (the active compound in brewed ayahuasca) and Psilocybin (active compound found in certain types of prepared ‘magic mushrooms’).

He’s got the face of a boozer plus the eyes of a drug user, and it’s looking more not less obvious as recent years have gone by. He’s really aged this past year alone.

Do you know what I reckon you're right . However if there were a proper notification from BP, that titles had been removed they could use Prince and Princess all they like , but it would be clear they did not have them. So they would look silly. I am sure H&M will carry on the Diana's grandchildren . As are George , Charlotte and Louis.

I flip flop with the removing titles thing. At the moment it doesn't really matter. & I could see the absolutely storm of eg "how can you tell a 5 / 6 / 7 year old girl she is no longer a princess !!! - waaah etc" . I do think in time however , when it becomes clear , as I believe it will , H&M nor their children have any place in the WRF , it may become appropriate to say H's titles are not hereditary , and when they reach their majority A&L will lose the titles if they are not members of the WRF.

If W runs short , at current course and speed I think Edward and Sophie's two look like they could step in in extremis.

I don't know - I think it's a bridge to cross nearer the time . But I think if H can't rein himself in a bit it may be the case he goes just that bit too far & gives the RF an open goal to make adjustments to his family's titles.

That is a terrible photo. It just goes to show the absolute lack of talent. Food is not that hard to photograph...just need a little creativity and common sense.

I couldn't agree more - and remember it's not just the Royal Family, and most recently the Judiciary, who've been roundly insulted. It's also the people of the UK, branded racists to the whole world by this disgusting, conniving pair. Tea, scones and reconciliation? Let's have an apology first.

Perhaps H visualises the HAMlets being working royals as appearing on balconies, in grand carriages and on red carpets with lots of waving and flashbulbs? Maybe he's forgetting the duty and service bits and just seeing celebrity status.

Those kids are also the offspring of two people who wouldn't follow the script. I suspect that, however much Harry wants it, a teenage Archie and Lily will not be massively cooperative with the idea that they should turn up in a foreign country to shake strangers' hands. Harry obviously hasn't got to the bit of parenting when you realise that your children are autonomous individuals who make their own decisikns and that your power as a parent to make them do what you want is extremely limited. (For me this was the point I couldn't pick them up and make them go where i wanted!)

I think if I was Charles or William I would do as a PP suggested: wrap up taking away the titles in a "modernising the Royal Family & giving the British public better value for money" wrapper.

So the WRF slimmed down, titles removed, including from Beatrice and Eugenie (2 birds with one stone, ha ha!), open more properties to the public, with proceeds going to charity, keep all the pomp and ceremony and soft diplomacy, and keep "showing up and doing good" - which is absolutely what the WRF have been doing in recent years.

That would deal with AMW's daughters, HAM and the Hamlets and would be great PR. Alas I don't think Charles has the guts to do it but William might.

They are still playing a blinder, with no clap backs, grey rock, other than short, factual statements. They know how to play the long game, good for them.
